  1. No, unfortunately that's just the travel for both.
  2. Yes. I worked out the other day that it would only cost £36 return from my house to Alton Towers (including train and bus) which is pretty good seeing as it costs £24 to get to Thorpe Park.
  3. Sorry, I meant £6 return.

  5. It's about half an hour to 40 minutes on the bus. Last time I checked it was about £6 one way.
  6. It's only £28 for a return from Kent.

Just to add to that also, the speakers you might have seen in the volcano have the intention for queue line use, not ride use.

We are moving house this summer, so we don't currently have any plans set in stone. However, my parents have booked 2 separate weeks off of work, and I think we might be taking two shorter breaks. One of which I think is going to be Paris, which only means one thing.... DISNEY!Have a good time in Portugal Tim!

Fotowhizz certainly is a fantastic site for Merlin pictures. Every picture is captured in the right light, and Andy really brings out the best in all of the rides and parks.

I have great experience with that happening to me on Stealth.
  16. I wouldn't say that that ride count is shameful. Actually I would say that is pretty good for a summer's day.
  17. I completely agree about the H&S bit!
  18. Yes, it was a phone. I once saw it being used by a ride host who was receiving information from the control cabin and communicating it to the public outside of the entrance when the ride was closed.

If I remember rightly, when fastrack was first introduced into Thorpe Park it was free and very similar to the "Disney" style. Can someone remind me why that idea was scrapped?

I have heard that announcement on several other rides before in the past. I think you'll find that this announcement is used as a generic file, hence the reason why "Rumba Rapids" is not mentioned once in the announcement.

FloridaPirates of the Caribbean or It's A Small World (Paris)?
  25. I don't if it has been like this for long, but I love the way that it makes so much noise each time the train catches on to the bottom of a lift hill. Only people who have experienced the noise will be fully able to appreciate actually how loud it is!
