  1. I don't think that would be possible. The cars are not "attached" as such in the main body of the ride, but they are more so on the drop than anywhere else. Despite this, I know that Thorpe Park do try to spread out people in each log, as to avoid possible problems like this?
  2. I am not entirely sure, but judging by the on-ride photos that I have seen, it looks like the camera is on the main drop, somewhere near the saws at the bottom.
  3. I shouldn't think it will be much longer than 30 minutes. Don't take my word for it though, many people might have the same idea as you and visit again to make up for the previous weekend.
  4. It's something about that double drop that makes me tingle .

    Rush

It's the little things that make more people happy!
  6. I would say probably 15 minutes max in the week, and 30 minutes max on Saturday. As you say, with it being Mother's day and AP day at CWOA on Sunday, I wouldn't expect many people to turn up.

    Rush

Yes, but as someone mentioned earlier, two or three extra swings at full speed isn't going to make that much of a difference.
  8. Yes. I shouldn't think it will reach more than 15 mins all week.
  9. It was around 10minutes max.
  10. As far as I am aware, nothing is wrong with it. It just hasn't yet finished its winter maintenance. As far as I know, the boats are currently being added to the track. I heard somewhere that it should be open by the end of this week. Also, it appears as though Slammer will also become available by the end of this week. Give TP a couple more weeks, and we should hopefully see the first day or two of the season with everything available.
  11. Just thought I'd day, Tidal Wave looks great here, with a fresh lick of paint.
  12. I just saw that on the website . Tidal Wave seemed to be down quite a bit last year.
  13. Fantastic . I am going on Thursday or Friday, hopefully the queues will be similar to this.
  14. What were the queues like today?
  15. Sorry about that. I'm glad to see SAW up and running so quickly again. Thorpe Park seem to be turning things around.
  16. Personally I think it's a bit ridiculous. Thorpe Park advertise as opening for the main season on 14th March 2009. You would assume by this, that everything would be ready by that date. I just don't think it is acceptable to have rides not complete (winter maintenance), and general areas not ready to open on opening day. If things arn't ready, they should delay the opening day, and make sure that everything is OPEN on opening day. . On the other hand though, I do appreciate that the winter maintenance on some rides does take longer than others, and that this can't be completed during the winter months.
  17. Wow. Really impressed . I don't mind when things go wrong if there is a suitable compensation. This is perfectly acceptable for the problems that occured. I would be more than happy with a free return ticket.
  18. Please don't quote me if this has been said before, but "Saw - The Ride" has been removed from the Unavailable Rides list on the Thorpe Park website. .
  19. Ok. I am impressed at Thorpe Park for doing this. Well done Thorpe!
  20. Free entry return tickets? Or fastrack tickets?
  21. I am going then aswell, but I have no idea regarding the ride availability for that day. With Thorpe, the ride line-up is likely to change every day.
  22. Was it very busy?Did you get on many other rides?

    Your Thorpe Park

I think Thorpe Park should take out Depth Charge and replace it with some sort of water coaster. Similar to Journey to Atlantis. Hence why I put it in the area of Neptunes Kingdom, "Atlantis". I just think Depth Charge should be next to go. It is a short ride, it is not particularly thrilling, and the queue is always very long.
