Tennis Balls. The smell of petrol, or the smell of burning candles.

Yes. There were a couple of weeks ago.

Nevertheless, we are all forgetting that this is the SAW: The Ride topic. Here we are free to talk about SAW: The Ride. It's up to anyone if they want to use spoilers or not, even if it is a Spoiler topic. Let's all just stop talking about spoilers, and start talking about SAW. .
  4. No. We talked about it while on the ride, but completely forgot about it by the time we left. (Which was at 10 o' Clock, stayed for Fright Nights).
  5. Got stuck on Logger's Leap at the end of last year. It was about 4 o' Clock in the afternoon and began to rain. We were stuck on the lift hill for around 70 minutes. We wanted to get out and walk down the steps but we were reassured every 5 minutes that the ride would start again soon. I must say though, the Logger's Leap ride hosts were very good all the times. We had a very funny guy telling us jokes (although they were pretty bad jokes ), for most of the time, which really sped up the waiting time. Finally our log started to move again, and I must say, I have never enjoyed that drop so much! .

To be honest, every time I've been SAW has had a constant queue time all day. So I would recommend going to Stealth first if there is no queue. But then again, I know how you feel, when I got to Thorpe Park for the first time this year I wanted to go straight to SAW and nothing would stop me! .

That's exactly what I found a couple of weeks ago. The ride was so great (more intense than in 2008), but the loading was so slow. Only a couple of rows of the queue were filled, yet it took around 40 minutes to get on the ride!

Apple Pie. Chocolate Cake or Chocolate Fudge Cake?

Obviously, they are going to test Stealth after a rollback. They don't want to the train to roll back (for many reasons: delaying throughput, customer satisfaction, ride availability etc), so they have to run numerous test runs, to ensure that the launch is working properly. (This is just a guess, I might be wrong). P.S. I'm not one to moan, but could you please check your spelling and grammar next time, so that your posts are easier to read. Thanks .
  11. I would have to say RCT3. I love the graphics and realism on No Limits, but I don't really like games where you can't build parks. Just coasters .

I'm straight .But I'm not going to knock anything until I've tried it .

I agree as well. I had really high expectations about the queueliine (because it was said to interact with guests more and create a more intense ride experience), but it didn't. Ok, the traps are quite good, but the rest of the queue is nothing special. I was expecting to be wowed, but it didn't happen. But the ride itself is pretty awesome.

Exactly. I never actually had any lessons, but I always just picked it up by ear and it is such a great instrument once you get into the swing of it.
  15. Paul replied to Mark9's topic in General Discussion
I agree. It is a good advert.

Could someone please answer me a question? (And apologies if this has already been mentioned and I havn't seen it). Outside of the SAW queueline, a sign reads "The Queueline may contain Live Actors", (or something along those lines). Where on earth in the queueline would there be room for live actors? The only place I can think of is in the traps, pretending to be victims of Jigsaw.

The themeing is ok, but I much prefered the old theming. All of the bushes and trees with the previous ride made the whole experience so much better.
  18. I think the idea was that the "free ticket" compensation part was for guests to collect on the day. I have no idea what or when Thorpe Park will reply to you, but I would just advise you not to get your hopes up.
  19. Paul replied to Dan_Rush's topic in General Discussion
I can't imagine that being true.

I don't know how right you are, but Stealth sure does seem to take a fair bit longer to reset after a rollback.
  21. I might suffer a little hatred for saying this, but to be honest I'm starting to get a bit bored of Nemesis Inferno. It's a good ride in itself, but compared to others in the park it's not one of the greatest for me. Now I only ride once, (don't get me wrong, it's a great way to start the day), but I don't see the fun in riding it over and over again.

I have a double bass pedal but I very rarely use it. I am concentrating on Funk & Jazz at the moment, but I do use it sometimes.
  23. Paul replied to TimR's topic in Stuff
I play drums and piano .
  24. Obviously have more security stations. If they can manage it at airports, why can't they do it at TP?Plus a couple of minutes out of your day isn't much to ask for.
  25. I completely know what you mean. Also, while we are talking about the entrance, what does anyone think about the security processes now? I think its good that they started doing it at the beginning of last year, but they should check everyone, not just do a random selection.
