Awesome stuff by the Stealth staff last night - Adam and I got on at about 10:50pm - had two rides, and then went back on to the platform as we decided to go for a 3rd ride, which was announced to be the last of the day... the train however wouldn't move from the offload platform, and they announced there was a fault. Fully expected them to just not let us ride, which would've been cool - but they got an engineer over and fixed it, and we rode just after 11pm Fab stuff Thorpe - all part of an awesome day yesterday!

Or that bloody mechanical monkey used in a teaser!

Stealth opened late today again judging by Twitter - Thorpe Park anticipated it would open late by all accounts. Some downtime for Saw too.

Stealth seems to be misbehaving herself today and yesterday - is that due to the heat? Apologies if that's been asked before

Indeed, there were comments saying they really enjoyed it - but there were more posting about broken headsets/audio, the ride having downtime etc.

Did anyone see the post on Thorpe's FB asking fans to "react" to the Ghost Train - most of the comments below it really aren't very good... just saying!

Is it me or does running down a train track spell a health and safety minefield for people falling over?

I don't like the sound of this... sounds as if the headsets aren't really fit for purpose/up to the abuse that guests throw at them.

Thorpe Park just tweeted a picture that shows a 200 minute queue. That is scary.

Yep I'm yet to ride but my sister who was HYpEd to ride it left feeling a bit unimpressed... she said it was good but not as she amazing as she hoped - and she's not an "enthusiast". She said she didn't really "get it" and it made little sense.

I got bored of waiting for the ride to open so decided to read the spoilers as I'd lost the hype. I could've/would've stayed away if it had been open for my visit in May (meaning a week of not reading things) - I don't go to Thorpe more than once or twice a year and don't have an AP After reading about it though - it does sound impressive and the delays now would make sense as it does sound a bit of a challenge technology wise. Sounds like a proper opening is a little way off still - my sister went on at the weekend and said her VR headset wasn't loud enough and didn't work correctly.

Slammer appears to have been down since 27th June - has she slammed for the final time?

They've shut the queue - which is fair enough if the queue is estimated at 2+ hours.

I can't believe it's coming up to 50 days since I visited and hoped to ride. And yes, just because it's been open doesn't mean there haven't been problems behind the scenes. I still maintain that the ride won't fully open without 7-10 days notice from Thorpe Park, they need to build up the "Hype train" again!

Indeed - I'm actually genuinely excited to ride the thing again now. I wouldn't have read spoilers if it had opened when it was supposed to mind you, as I would've only had to stay away from them for a week! Leaked info isn't too difficult to find.

I'm heading back to Thorpe for MOS Meet on 23rd July - and to think that my source joked that I should be alright to ride DBGT by then when I chatted to him at the end of April regarding my visit mid-May and the chance of me riding DBGT for mid-May being zero! At this rate, it could've only been open a couple of weeks

I guess if you are staying in the shipping container hotel then TP will have your details... so it wouldn't be too difficult to work out/find whoever leaked something.

I'm pleasantly surprised/infuriated (delete as appropriate) that none of the hotel guests who have ridden it have leaked anything to social media about it - I know that NDA's are about but I'm sure the Staines massive don't care about those
