  1. Would not surprise me if they announced this is to permanently close at the end of season, and never gets removed.
  2. I'm not sure it is a "silly reason", whilst it was entertaining, to some poking fun at mental health is a dangerous game and puts the reputation of the park in jeopardy. The park had to consider the implications of continuing it, and whilst I'm sad it left, I agree with the decision they made. Additionally, the maze had been operating since Fright Nights began, and so it was time for a new maze anyway
  3. Considering a lot of rides are 9/10 tokens each, it's still the cheapest way to do Winter Wonderland. Also, no queues! (mostly)
  4. They were both exactly the same, just the route was reversed when it changed to The Asylum, and the iconic freezer entrance removed This maze will not return.
  5. Legoland says hi
  6. I mean, have some sympathy for the dancers/actors, to do the routine every 20 minutes, everyday is bloody hard. That is a lot to ask of them. Additionally, having set times for the shows allows all guests to know exactly when the show will be. Because every 20 minutes could be that when you turn up, you just missed it perhaps. I visited last week and waited 15 minutes before giving up, I didn't know whether I had just missed one or not, and I wasn't keen on just waiting around. I would have preferred to know an exact time when the routine was going to start.
  7. I stand corrected, but I still believe it will be a half arsed job, it's Merlin. The park needs a large investment, and not a refurbishment of a current ride or a second hand ride from a Sea Life
  8. That will never happen at Chessington, lets be realistic here
  9. Merlin clearly had a deal with the manufacturer of the monstrosity, minimum order was probably 3, Towers incoming
  10. Debatable, it's one of the worst rides in the park imo. Bar its few opening years when it had it's original theming, the speed was incredible

Sticking this anywhere because it needs attention. This video had me howling, watch until the end ???
  12. I can picture it now Walk through this abandoned log flume, sat derelict for 100 years, come face to face with the lost souls of loggers leap. Will just be an actor with a torch. Basically the loggers version of platform
  13. Very helpful thank you! I'll be visiting alone tomorrow, so good to know where to head first!
  14. I don’t know what’s in those pipes you lot are smoking. But Saw Alive hasn’t been good since it’s first year. From the second year on it was a constant downward spiral. Good riddance.
  15. Dom is wise ?
  16. You're not serious about this are you?
  17. The whole ride and it's being is a regular issue ?
  18. BounceZilla will bounce back soon! *
  19. Also, I wonder how long it will be before a member of the public punctures it, deliberately. That's inevitable surely.
  20. A few more, credit to TPG
  21. Here's the first photo of this...... thing If the park has ever looked more like a fairground, it's now
  22. VIP Passes are now discontinued, thank god
  23. I don't understand why they had the screens up when literally nothing has changed, what were they trying to hide? ?
  24. Thing is The UK really doesn't make that much money for the company, in comparison to international parks. There's a market for them to tap into across the world, and it works (apparently), so I do get why their focus is on international. However, that said, I also agree that there needs to be a bigger budget for CwOA, even if it's a one off, it would allow the park to make the changes and improvements it so desperately needs

    No, just fanboys
