  1. I think the issue with CC is that they don't really have a lot of room to expand. It already feels quite cluttered as it is. It confuses the heck out of the guests at times when queuing for the rings, making sure you have the right one for the right side. I know the waterpark gets jet washed almost every day, however when I was there the place was a mess. The changing rooms stunk, several door locks didn't work. The hot tubs outside are a complete and utter state, most the jets don't work anymore and don't even get me started on the state of all the interactive water features on the whacky waterworks. I can see that 12 years ago the water park may have been an acceptable instalment but nowadays it's a total joke, especially at £15 a pop for a full price ticket. I don't see that Merlin will change the water park. It's in a prime position as any child staying in splash can see it and will automatically want to go. hence why I went last, as my 6 year old nephew wanted to go in. I think it makes the park a lot of money in its current state and don't see it getting upgraded anytime soon!
  2. Yes it wouldn't be ideal if the show building just gets left looking like a shed. However....if that means that the ride inside will be of a better quality and more immersive when you get inside then so be it!
  3. SOUTHPARKS!!! That is all....
  4. Rolands book "The king of fun" is now available on the Europa online store in English. http://www.europapark-shop.de/lshop,showdetail,143836754118975,en,1438367885-25230,info___media,a10839,2,Tshowrub--info___media,.htm works out as 24.99 euros delivered, I was going to wait until October but couldn't resist!!
  5. You have read the daily mail?? This disgusts me pluk....you should know better I'm not sure why people expected anything more from the media, they're always hyping things up to sell papers etc!
  6. 2006 or 07? they were on eBay. I paid £120 for mine, got an annual pass, 2 free tickets, unlimited fast track and £15 voucher to spend in park. All proceeds went to charity and my name is still on it with Ricky Gervais. Last I saw it was on the front row
  7. Thorpe replied to my comment on Facebook stating that summer nights only tickets will be available and are coming soon
  8. Guess no one takes offence when it's snoop dogg...
  9. Merlin have plenty of cash....just greedy share holders
  10. Even its fan base on discussion forums seem to be turning on Merlin or is the perceived increased in negativity just me?
  11. Yes they do! But as my post States above, shows how little they value their customers by the fact they've done this, that's my point
  12. To me it is a big deal, this is why.... They've changed the benefits of the pass (which they're entitled to do in their T&C's) after the passes have been sold. Advertise benefits, sell passes, take benefits away. There is no regard for their existing customers, it's just a kick in the nuts and shows how little merlin think of its pass holders. I can't get a refund on my pass, if I could, then I would. Tired of Marlins BS now
  13. Someone is going for promotion hope it went well!
  14. Thing I've always loved about Europa is how much they actually care about the appearance of their park, rather than it always being "zomg look at our new ride" My point being, is the money that they spend every year could probably get them a low cost ride every year, but Mack seem to have the right balance as to what they spend their money on. The park is an all round great experience, well presented, good ride lineup, quality food outlets and clean. It's so well presented that last summer, I quite happily walked around for 2 hours just taking it all in. Other parks should take note that aesthetics do really count
  15. You "hate" them so much that you still use your club card points on their product and they make money from it.... Hate is a very strong word! Standard passes are very good value for money when you look at them as an individual product but it's clear to see that the premium is even better value for most! I don't agree with the £5 surcharge, but you make very bold statements on here and it's hard to take you seriously!
  16. So actually you've had 12 months worth of entry for effectively nothing (assuming you were buying goods from tesco anyway) and you're moaning about value for money? Riiiiiiiigggghhhtttt........
  17. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!!!!!!! Stop with the ghost train already.
  18. Shambhala... Horrific queue line.... Awesome ride.
  19. I like the "take me out" IP the best.... No likey no lighty
  20. Rock n roller coasters building is actually quite tall compared to this I think
  21. This is a true opportunity to "theme".... If they can provide a truly immersive themed (throughout) experience then I for one will be pleased. Theme parks are all about escapism so if they are blowing major money on this investment then we should be able to realistically hope for true immersion
  22. I think they've been creeping up for a while now. Although the rooms aren't anything special I would consider El Paso all inclusive if I were you. Saves a load of money (depending on how long you want to stay)
  23. Towers on Thursday were running 2 trains on nemesis and sending one around empty every time... Now that pee'd me off far more than them just running one...
  24. Got an iphone 6 today..... And yes it is an extravagance but a few extra shifts at work paid for it, happy with it so far, loving the bigger screen

    Slammer

Still makes no sense as the far side could be the console side if you're sitting closest to the exit path
