Blackpool Pleasure Beach
'Only' has 3 coasters... Lucky they have Tower of Terror and Indiana Jones really... Also, Europa won the best park thing, so it can't be that amusement park focused then...

Blackpool Pleasure Beach
There's a ride in the mountain... I was trying to be a bit fair and use a similar style overall photo rather than focus on details...

Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Just to point out that apparent industry experts think this: Is better than this:

Europa Park
Shame those awards are just dreadful and change winners once in a blue moon... Sure Cedar Point will win it next year with a new DM...

Park Operations
It probably doesn't help that most of these other parks are a lot more responsive (within reasoning) to how the queues adapt during the day... Asterix when I visited recently was adding trains on everything pretty much on things as an example... Thorpe's excuse of 'no demand' shows the lack of customer service we get these days... Especially when people are in 45 minute queues...

Rattlesnake
Defo used to dispatch earlier than that... Probably as part of the whole "we don't want rides to risk crashing ever again" idea...

Roman Roaming: Highlights from Italy, Part 2
DiVertical actually opens?!!!! That home made park thing looks absolutely amazing for all the wrong reasons... Might have to visit if I ever return to Italy (which won't be anytime soon)...

Cedar Point
Going where Wildcat once stood... People say the mini-DMs have uninspiring layouts...

Shrek's Adventure London
There's been PLENTY of advertising in London... It's probably just not of any interest to anyone though, lots of competition in London for tourist things, and does this really have the draw over say, Potter Studios (which is in Watford yes, but loads of people still wander around London with bags from it)...

Efteling
Not staying onsite? That's a fail... ERT option is probably ideal then, since you could just walk straight to Baron/Joris/etc. Aquanura try and stand with Fata Morgana on your left, main entrance to your right for the best view... In the evening, no idea what's in Tilburg, Eindhoven probably has a few more things cos of being a bigger city... There's pretty much nothing near the park though...

The Smiler Incident 02/06/2015
Nah, course the park don't want to get it open as soon as possible, not like it's been affecting their attendances at all this summer...

Phantasialand
Intamin neck-chopping ruins what could be fantastic rides... *glares at Maverick* Hopefully, with lapbars they'll be amazing on this... JOYvelen <3

Zufari
What needs to be remembered is that guests tend to need rides to be fully explained to them... Look at the name of the rides for CBeebies Land... They're long and daft at times, but a guest can read it and go "that's a water ride", or whatever, very beneficial to them... Granted CBeebies is mostly so parents know exactly what the ride is so they can judge prior if it's suitable for their little ones, but the idea is still the same... I too like the Zufari name, but it's pretty much the only thing I do like... The ride isn't helped by the poor access among the fencing zoo and then what is probably a dreadful ride experience to most riders given you see about 3/4 species in about 2 minutes tops... Given that a majority have probably visited Florida and Animal Kingdom, or hell even places like Longleat, Knowsley, etc and even as a safari experience it's dreadful... Great idea, awful execution...

Zufari
They also need to remodel the loading area... It's amazing how many things Merlin managed to get wrong with Zufari...

Feedback of the Forums
This is so accurate... Over the decade I've been involved in the coaster community in one shape or another, whether in be on a forum or through the likes of the RCCGB, the ratio of male to female is probably something ridiculous like 50:1 (N.B. ratio may not be accurate, I'm gonna say 5:1 mtf based on a recent trip with CF)... Coaster enthusiasm is pretty much like most 'geeky' things, it isn't particularly that wide-ranging when you get deeper than the basic visiting theme parks to have fun... Whilst the ride community is much more all-encompassing than say things like gaming, there's not really much a singular forum can do to get more females to sign up and become part of it... Publically on the forum I would say it's pretty decent, whilst privately (which is what you're looking at here Cornflakes), I think the team pretty much have their heads screwed on about the whole thing... If it continues I'm sure the offending person will end up being chucked on the streets outside TPM Towers quickly and without drama... You can't change people who believe in this 'banta' or 'I'm gonna troll this forum for the lulz' thing... #trustinmarc

Paultons Park
To be fair, Dinosaurs have always been cool with kids... They're bloody DINOSAURS!
-
Rattlesnake
Hey look, the teased announcement is new giraffes! Just because a guest asked a staff member doesn't make anything true... Scenic Railway should be open in a couple of weeks then if we're using such logic...

Six Flags Great Adventure
The Six Flags passes are INSANELY good value... Even at like the usual $100 they tend to be...
-
Phantasialand
Stay on site, the hotels are gorgeous and just worth it in general...
-
Air
Gotta love it when people working at parks blurt out info like this when they're not meant to <3 If we're comparing e-penis sizes I know what Thorpe are getting next year...
-
Air
#insiderinfo Its a stupid idea, especially given that the whole point of Air is to experience the feeling of flight... I fully expect Merlin to therefore use this idea, because it's the sort of stupid gimmick they love...

Bubbleworks
Staff are told expressly not to inform guests about why rides aren't working to full efficiency... Especially after the media storm with Smiler...
