^ Personally I probs won't be arriving for 12 (since I would have to leave at 8/9am and well, effort ), and then riding Swarm once when I get there before meeting up, otherwise I'll have nothing to discuss with everyone else (after all, most people will be hitting the park a LOT in that first week, whilst I will not)...

^Nah, I have no problem with news reporters riding it (aside from Towers' decision to keep it secret THEN reveal it a day before opening), because it gets the ride out there... The worst thing on the Thirteen segment was the ECC people looking positively bored...Celebs getting to ride it though whilst everyone else looks on is out of order though... They can have their celeb nights or whatever, but the park shouldn't bend over backwards for them... (I would be horrible in GS, since I wouldn't give them exit passes on the basis of being famous )

Being an enthusiast =/= expert...I believe many posts of sarcasm have not translated well onto the site, but that's life...Either way, Wossy was wrong, but probably to provide some TERRIFYING PR for the ride, rather than to give out facts... Besides how many of the GP actually care about all the facts and figures of the ride? The majority at Thorpe will call it "THAT BIG WINGED THINGY INNIT BRUVVVVVVVVVVVV" anyways, so they might as well have said it goes at lightspeed, back to the future, gives you a cuppa and then gives you dental surgery...tl;dr... Yeah obviously the ride will maim as many people as possible... Cos you know, B&M are bored of Intamin getting all the injuries and incidents on their rides and want in...

The MuppetsAhhh the Muppet films are very hit and miss in general, with such classics as Christmas Carol to iffy ones like Muppets From Space, however, this film is much more a homage towards the original Show, which only helps the film to become very good...It's amazing how emotional this film can be considering 99% of the cast are made of felt and ping pong balls, yet due to the addition of Walter, Jason Segal and Amy Adams, an extra dimension to the film is added, and with the great acting from Segal and the relatively under-used Adams gives a human element to the proceedings...Having had some experience growing up with the Muppets, this film is definitely made for the older Muppet fans, whilst introducing younger ones to the chaos... Some great scenes, some great cameos makes it an excellent family film that many will enjoy...8/10

No choice is slightly annoying, but meh, makes it easier for staff to keep the queue moving and stopping people demanding certain sides...No front row is same as Raptor... Again to ensure flow through the station, especially if the layout is similar to Raptor's...

Thing is, if like me, you haven't seen the films, you wouldn't make that connection because of how, well generic it all is...Oh well... What happens when you blow most of the budget on an IP most people will have forgotten about in a few years...

I doubt it would take them much effort to replace an animatronic, signs and a few videos...Couple of thousand costage? Considering the franchise's staying power isn't particularly any good since it's dead, I would not be surprised if they would retheme it... It would probs actually be cheaper than renewing...

Dunno why people think it being like Air is a bad thing, Raptor was essentially a Wing-Rider version of Air and it was FAB <3I wouldn't jump the gun for believing it will be as intense as Nemesis and Inferno, indeed it might be more akin to Inferno with one or two potential grey/black outs in the ride...I think people knock less intense rides because we've been spoilt with Nemesis over here... Just because they don't pull the Gs, doesn't mean they're not good solid rides...

Update from the Dev'sSo we have BOTH the Fire Engine and Helicopter (proving people shouldn't panic about things not being there so early) ANNNNNNNNNND water splash by the Fire Engine...Just over a month to go...

Considering the timing of Merlin's takeover and Saw's construction, it might well have been a Merlin decision following their market research in that Wooden coasters are considered dangerous and unsafe by the GP...Ironic then if they built a steel coaster instead and gave it a dangerous and unsafe theme...

10 years since it opened... Blivvy's 10th year was 2008 for example, and of course Air's is this year as well...And god knowing that Colossus is 10 makes me feel SO OLD... I rode it on opening day when it was WORTH a 90 minute queue... Then it had to go ruin itself with new AWFUL trains...I would laugh if Swarm ERT was on the opening weekend Saturday, it won't be, but that would be excessively funny...
