  1. B&M did all their innovations in the 90s though (if we take Air as starting work in 1998/99), and as a result became pretty much the market leader... Think the problem is short of them building a new track base (like the other companies have in order to innovate), what else can they really do beyond their usual standard? Would it be worth the time and effort for them to jump into a now crowded market for mid-range coasters? China will keep them going for years to come...

I don't understand half the decisions made by Merlin parks right now... A brand new sit down eatery (that's been closed all last year anyway) would be so useful given how popular the area will be, but... For some reason, nah... Poor show...
  3. Yeah I think last year they added loads of alpine ones for some reason? It's been argued for years I guess, but like I'm sure it doesn't count the ones at Toverland or Schwaben that do run on tracks... It's a bit like the SuperSplashes from Mack, where some are counted and some aren't according to the site... THEN there's Fuga de Atlantide at Gardaland to mess it up further...
  4. Oh I agree, just no one took my baited comment
  5. Alpine coasters aren't creds... RCDB clearly bowed to pressure on that one... Cos if those count, why shouldn't the one at Oakwood or Plopsa Coo?
  6. That's not that rare... According to my Coaster-Count rare points, the old Pinfari at Hayling Island (not Klondike) is my most rare coaster... The Miner Mike in Skegness area is next, with also the old Clown Coaster at Chessie up there... I can't really think of any truly rare things though...

Nemesis wasn't a world's first (neither was Air technically)... SW has just become a marketing tool for them...
  8. But building an Aqua-Trax makes the one in Korea less special [/mega-lite]
  9. Schwaben Park is getting a RCT3 Cred! Company called RES (Ride Engineers of Switzerland) are supplying it apparently... It's... An interesting choice... The park has some decent potential (and Force 1 is actually pretty fab ) once you get over the whole dodgy Chimp part...
  10. In what form will it reopen though is the question... I mean, they could actually take the chance to make it good?
  11. You know a park gone done mucked up when one of your most fervent fanboys is angry...

It won't though, because once again a perfectly acceptable family coaster has got a dark theme that will alienate the majority of it's target audience...

Shouldn't that be 'led' by GCI? Poor grammar is poor...

We love being safe, that's why we've stuck fire on a wooden structure after the last few years at our park being terrible because we can't train staff properly...

That's correct, so this isn't even a world's first... Morons...
  16. Not the first time Amanda has destroyed a classic attraction before it could be saved... The 'new development' excuse is literally the quickest thing they could think of to try and quell the pr disaster out of their control... Disappointing really that they couldn't be bothered to give something beyond the standard copy and paste job you see on every single Trip Advisor review...
  17. Blackpool on opening day: 1 step forwards, 2 back...
  18. If they get rid of Forest of Plop then I'll be very upset with life... Couldn't care less about the Batflyers, they're awful rides in general...
  19. RMC Robin Hood please (mainly because I can't really think of anything else the park could do with)...
  20. How would it be a pain? Got an offload and onload position anyway, they just actually have to do something now...

Makes me think that someone at Towers' marketing loves Bray Wyatt... Face/Off wooden coaster? Nah, that would be a stupid idea; and I can't imagine a backwards wooden coaster being particularly fun...
  22. If they do any re-routing of that road, I would love them to actually put some thought into linking the hotel sites together (be it through another land train or something), as it feels disappointing that you're kinda left to deal with whatever your hotel has to offer... Which as nice as the main hotel is, the best hotel restaurant is clearly at Bosrijk... But the 30 minute walk between them isn't particularly enjoyable...
  23. Aren't those Vekoma trains? Surely the trains on this will either be Taron or Skyrush style? I mean, guys, we're on a forum dedicated to a park that shows B&M restraints on Stealth as part of their marketing imagery... We know this sorta stuff (which is NOT concept art, but marketing imagery) is usually a load of balls...
  24. Mop up more of UK parks, probably Sweden and Holland/Belgium as well, if only to keep up the European B&M completion thing going... Probably try and fit something else in...
