Why? They won't tell you anything. I don't understand the point of contacting a park about this sort of thing. It gets you nothing.

Thing is you can't make something like Walking Dead family friendly without, well, defeating the point of having the IP in the first place... So either they alienate the family market, or create a diluted attempt at the show... Neither option is positive...

Saw someone on Twitter ask/suggest something similar for Villa Volta... Would not be surprised if we see something similar (though I'm surprised disabled visitors have a separate thing for Villa, considering Hex has full access with a quick disembark for the ride)...

Has the water vortex even been on this decade? Wonder what you could do with some modern technology additions to it... Bit of projection mapping and some modernised updates to the SFX systems to make them more reliable and generally better would do wonders to it... Valhalla has always been a strange fit for Blackpool, exacerbated by the ridiculous levels of wetness that you'd actually be dryer after mincing in the Irish Sea in comparison...
You can have all the creative thought in the world, but it's always limited by budget... Blackpool just don't have the budget to operate a ride of Valhalla's scale... Even when it opened it struggled a lot... Geoffrey really did bite off more than he could chew with it...
Guess difference is that at Blackpool you pay per ride anyway (well, if you don't buy a wristband)? So Merlin couldn't really implement something like this (unless they did an ERT thing, but tbh they should just bring back Premiere Screaming events for MAP holders)... Like yeah, it's a weird thing, since surely it's being included on the wristband? Guess you're mostly paying for the certificate (which a big majority of goons will lap up)...
It won't be open until Fright Nights anyway, by which point no-one will care...
