Quite an easy way is to upload it to Photobucket, then copy the IMG code onto a post on the forum.

Interesting video from the ITV Granada Report on the new ride, I must say it does look very good and I'm looking forward to getting on it in the summer! http://www.itv.com/news/granada/update/2015-05-19/brace-yourself-we-test-fly-the-regions-newest-white-knuckle-ride-in-blackpool/ EDIT: There's also another one with Nick Thompson talking about how Skyforce is the begining of the next phase of white knuckle rides being introduced - really hope that's true! http://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/what-s-on/video-skyforce-most-thrilling-ride-we-ve-had-for-years-1-7268907

The thing is, for me, I don't find walking under a cargo net with a fan blowing air at you remotely thrilling, sure its a bit of fun but not something I would want to queue for. If they had pulled off the feeling of being touched by bugs well (e.g. "cobwebs" with "spiders" on that you have to walk through) then I might have found the experience more exciting, but for an IP which focuses on bugs I didn't at any stage feel remotely scared, which as someone who hates insects, bugs and spiders, I should have done. The fact that the maze is a themed experience means that the roof shouldn't be visible, but that wasn't the full reason for me not rating the attraction highly, just a contributing factor.

It's not really odd, an attraction like that should have 360 degree theming, it's supposed to be a jungle but having such a low warehouse roof detracts from the effect, if they'd covered it with dark green sheets or army netting then it would look much better. Also, it wasn't that dark, and in some places it was completely visible. Not that much of an issue I agree, but for a themed maze it should have been hidden better than that. As for the Dungeons, they are a poor effort IMO but that's for another topic. X is completely different in my opinion as it's not supposed to be a themed experience depicting a particular setting (e.g. Jungle), it's just basically a rave on a ride so I don't have a problem with the warehouse being visible on that. It's not fine, and people aren't happy queueing that. I saw lots of unhappy faces in the queue when I was in it, and that was when it was 45 minutes (for just the final corner of the queueline I add). Also, if you read reviews of the maze on social media, a lot of them complain about queueing a long time and that it wasn't worth it. Yes, high throughput rides get long queues, but that's unavoidable when the park is busy, but at least they are doing their best to reduce them as much as possible. If the queue was 85 minutes on a day when everything else was under 30, I dread to think what it is going to reach in the summer. I know it is a new attraction and I wasn't expecting low queues, but the speed of that queue was an absolute joke and I'd go as far to say that it's the lowest throughput attraction I've ever experienced, it can't have been doing more than 200pph on the day in question which is not good enough, especially in a park which already struggles with throughputs on a lot of its attractions.

Finally experienced the maze. Initial thoughts when I heard about it were that it was a strange choice of IP, and it didn't really work IMO. Theming was good (although the warehouse roof is clearly visible removing any sense of realism), but the trials didn't really work as they didn't have any sense of actually being a trial. Lighing was used well in places and overall it wasn't awfully carried out, but I just think that the concept of an IAC maze doesn't really work. Overall, in my opinion it was a nice try, but I'm still not sure why they built it after the failure of Saw Alive and I wouldn't rush back for another go anytime soon. It's also worth mentioning that the throughput is absolutely dire, about 10 metres of queue took 45 minutes and later on the queue (which looked like it should have been about half an hour tops) was advertised as 85 minutes. My rating: 4.5/10

It doesn't look that bad, I'm going next week, hopefully it'll be a laugh even if its not that brilliant. If not I'll just spend all day on the wooden coaster!
-
My thoughts exactly, it looks like it should be ready to go in no more than a few weeks but there may be electrical work/who knows what else to do.
-
Yeah, the trouble is I've seen them say that when there's a 90 minute queue, there clearly is demand but they can't see that. Too many parks in this country go by gate figures rather than looking at the actual queue with regard to ride capacity, but that's just my opinion.
-
Did this actually happen? If so, why?
-
Looks like a fantastic ride! Support structure is odd though.
-
That's good to hear, last year's lineup was dire.
-
Repainting the entire ride would be a lengthy process, so if this is the start of that then I can see why they are starting it now. It could just be to do with maintenance or track repairs though so I'm not holding out any hopes for a complete repaint yet.
-
It looks like an undercoat to me, which could mean that they are possible going to be testing out paint on a few sections of track?
-
Am I missing something here? Surely the park is open to day visitors until at least 6pm so how can summer nights start at 4?
-
I think you've hit the nail on the head, they advertised it as gut wrenching, terrifying and that sort of thing, it's not - that doesn't mean it's not a good ride, but the theme suggests intensity and terror, neither of which is offered by the coaster itself in my opinion (not to say that I don't like it).
-
Okay, thanks Out of interest was there a big queue of people waiting to go on at 10am? (I.e. do I need to wait there early?)
-
Does the I'm a Celeb maze open at 10am? I may be visiting soon and want to get on it before the queue builds.
-
I completely agree with that.

My source is a senior manager at the park who told us that during a behind the scenes business speech (in the workshop near the dome), and he said that they regretted not giving it an IP because after the success of Saw they were shocked at The Swarm not bringing in as many people, and it was all down to them choosing their own theme in his eyes. There was no mention of the Olympics, he was certain that it was all because it wasn't a recognised brand. Hence why I don't think they have considered the other factors behind it not bringing in as many customers as much as they should have.
-
As long as it goes smoothly, I'd say that the reopening of this park will be the best thing to have happened to the UK theme park industry in a long time. Seriously hope it goes well for them and I hope to visit soon!
-
Sadly it'll probably be branded as Merlin view The Swarm as a failure as the gate figures weren't good in 2012, however they haven't taken into account all the other factors such as the Olympics, recession etc. I hope it's an original theme and not another IP.
-
They could get rid of the outdated pictures on the floor, that would be a start and wouldn't cost much (just paint).
-
It needs major refurbishment, but the building itself is still fully functional and there's no reason to remove it - it's also iconic to the park so it should stay IMO. I think they should lose the Atlantis theme completely and go with a more modern, stylish look to the interior.

Is getting stuck upside down normal on booster rides? https://youtu.be/lVk8jTKZhQY

Has it seriously not done a full season in eleven years?
