You don't really have a point, since I said when the details were announced which was in January 2016. All we knew back in 2015 was that it would be psychological and that Derren Brown would be involved. The details (in particular that it would be a VR experience) were announced in Jan 16.

I said the minute they announced the details of DBGT that it'd be a failure, a catastrophically expensive one at that, and was ridiculed.

Cbeebies appeals to families with very young children, CATCF/Toyland/Around the World had the same appeal as something like River Caves or Bubbleworks where it was accessible to families but could be enjoyed by everyone. Also the one in Cbeebies isn't a dark ride is it? That's just like saying it's fine for BPB to scrap River Caves because they have Dora...

It's a bit poor that they took away a family boat ride (forgetting whether the CATCF theme was the best fit, as it could have been rethemed) under the TLC smokescreen, and then are now using this to run an up-charge attraction. Terrible move to make after the success of Wicker Man, they're literally pushing the park backwards again after its recent found success. Merlin aren't fit to run Alton Towers, nor do they deserve a park with so much potential.

It's not a bad price for a Dungeons but I still maintain the view that a theme park (especially one which already has rather short opening hours) is the wrong place for one.

Just to add, there's often times when they don't even give out a wristband, but just tell you a number; it's happened to me on Stealth numerous times and IMO is a huge breakdown of security. People could say any number and get someone else's belongings, it clearly shows that Thorpe do not take security seriously enough when they won't even replace bands.

It's nothing to do with you liking or disliking Inferno, it's because people recognise it as a quality coaster. It isn't pointless because Inferno keeps winning, it just means that the majority of people taking part in the game prefer Inferno over the other rides at Thorpe.

I'm amazed that anyone is really bothered or upset by Inferno winning, it's just a fun game to play in the closed season surely?

Slammer was the 2nd best ride at Thorpe in my opinion, but it won't win since it's technically gone (or rather, left there to remind everyone that Thorpe used to be better).

Nemesis Inferno is pure quality from start to finish. The best coaster at Thorpe IMO, glad it won.

I can imagine the interior would've cost a fair bit, as well as getting the ITV/IAC license? Surely the money they used for that would've been better spend towards something that would have benefited the park in the long term? Like, maintaining their log flume so it didn't have to close, perhaps?
