Really? Look at any TV personality (or band for that matter), they'll keep going for as long as they are relevant/paid to do so. If they love what they do (which Derren does) they will continue - even when they aren't on TV. His live shows are incredible (can't wait for Miracle in a few months). But even if he were to completely disappear in 5 years time, he isn't like the usual 'IP'. He could even be a fictional character. Look at Dr Frankenstein's Scream Machine - a fictional character - still had relevance (and would do today if it were still there). It could have been called Dr Merlin's Ghost Train, as long as we get a background/insight into who Dr Merlin is/was then the ride will make sense. Of course, "Dr Merlin" wouldn't sell tickets as well as "Derren Brown" in the first couple of years, but in year 5/10 (if the IP has left the public eye) it wouldn't matter. Think Saw: The Ride. When that opened, it sold many tickets. Now, who goes to TP to go on SAW because it's the movie-themed coaster? You go because of the ride. It could have been called Dillan: The Ride and people would be saying NOW that they want to go to TP to go back on Dillan, but that wouldn't have generated the hype back in 2010.

Could it be that they are making it a permanent building, but only using it at FN's. It was quite a success so make sense to do that rather than pick it up and drop it off every year?

Anyone working on this project - whether it's 3rd party or not has signed an agreement. Nothing will be leaked until TP want that info out there. It's much better this way I think. Unlike The Swarm (or similar) where we knew what it was (roughly) a long time prior to opening (because of plans etc.), this keeps us intrigued and hyped - which will only benefit the park (even if we are disappointed once it opens). In other news, can't be much longer until the next clue now. can it?

Incorrect. He has devoted his life to manipulation, hypnosis and suggestion. When he did the "medium" experiment, that was when he said he was a fraud; he doesn't believe (rightly IMO) in talking to the dead, and was showing how showmanship and suggestion (and cold reading) can make it look like you can.

It just wont. You need to have sufficient training in order to be able to hypnotize people. The recipient needs to be subjective (only a handful of people can actually be hypnotised). It's just not possible, sorry. That's not to say that TP won't advertise that there will be (signing wavers on that Psycoaster remember?) but there just won't be. Have the Derren IP (IMO) has already done wonders for this experience and it's only been a few months. I say the marketing on this is going to be brilliant. I mean, the man works 12months of the year - and ends up handing out leaflets at his shows - what an amazing idea!

On MAP preview night, "she" was hanging out on the red carpet area with the "celebs" that were posing for photos (in front of 2014's FN backdrop I must add). Got a look at her as we entered that area and walked past - looked just like "she" did in the videos. She was nowhere to be seen after that. I did Containment (LOVED IT!) a few weeks later, and indeed she was nowhere to be seen. Makes sense it was yet another publicity stunt. Oh Merlin!

Guys, guys... relax. All is going to revealed very soon - this forum will start to get busy I think. Rest this weekend, it's going to get going!

The first lift hill is the same. No anti-roll backs - designed to be safer so that the train can be sent backwards and evacuated down on ground level (prevents any risk of a mistake happening 60ft+ in the air). I have speculated from the start that an engineer/team manually over-rid so they could undergo this procedure after the computer detected the stalled train and shut the ride off. However, either human error or computer fault ran the chain forwards rather than backwards. If human error, I guess the fix would need to be that they can never be ran forward again - the system should still have prevented it.

Samurai is 100% not coming back to Chessington. It isn't in their target to have a thrill ride. Samurai is hardly holding up at Thorpe (in fact, it isn't holding up). No. Just No.

Not that bad don't worry. Haha I wish, I'm sure marketing will pick up once Hall'O'Ween is over. Honesty, it's for the family market- it may even be out there but I cannot be the one to leak it, sorry.

Guys, guys, guys. Please don't get too excited. The new attraction isn't anything amazing. It's been done before and It'll be done again I'm sure. I don't want to post a cryptic post of anything (I know how annoying they can be), I just don't want people getting hyped. I wish it was a new flat or a new coaster or something amazing, but just think about recent investments and you'll be on the right lines.

Been following these guys for quite some time, their work really is something else!
