http://www.towersstreet.com/news/view/?article=1351778601 TST news reports that Merlin have submitted a trademark for the name "The Smiler" so this has lead many to believe this will be the name as they now* own the rights too the name "The Smiler" *correct me if I'm wrong

Not only do Merlin love shipping containers but naming their rides starting with "The" is also become a trend of theirs As for the name, I'm indecisive.

This Halloween! Spixworth Fields Theme Park has been celebrating "Spixworth Horror Fields" running from 13th-31st October, hosting an event of horror attractions, fun family games and fantastic theming! Here is Spixworth Fields Mania review of 2012 SHF: The Park The park themed top to bottom with Halloween objects, right at the end of Farm Lane is the mighty haunted windmill, below it is objects of the previous visitors of SHF... When reaching the end of Field lane, you reach the first Horror Maze Attraction The Pavilion The Pavilion is set in 1943, in a unused pavilion previously used for all the guest seeing the beautiful gardens & house but after a freak unknown accident its been left to rot until recently the theme park open and they re-discovered the pavilion, now its your choice to become detectives and find out what really happened! The Pavilion maze is stupidly placed but as this was the only major available land, I guess they had no choice... The Pavilion is right at the start of the park, the entrance is directly across from Farm Lane so the queues get very big The queue line is set in the plaza to the pavilion the maze is set on you start your journey in a cobwebbed room before travelling deeper and deeper into the Pavilions past, beware as you get deeper as you may uncover something horrible! The Pavilion 6/10 Forbidden Factory Forbidden Factory is the second horror maze attraction this year, and by far the best... Set in abandoned factory, the disaster that closed this factory happened in the boiler room yet the rest tools inside the factory have gone, the boiler room remains the same! There is no blank bits in this horror maze, each room has a story to tell and scares alike, the maze also runs alot faster than The Pavilion and lets shorter queues as it is furthest away in the park! This is one of the highlights of the events Forbidden Factory 8/10 Finally the 2013 construction site! I never got into his character or saw enough of him to be horrified when he left, I started watching the show mid season two so the characters that was in season 3 was my favourites On the note of AHSA I have been trying and trying to watch this but it seems like I haven't had the time yet! As Sheepie knew he got me hooked on AHS season one and I was very excited for this but I haven't had a chance to see it yet!

:BUMP: Right so my favourite TV programme comes back last night! Misfits! Now earlier this year the disappointing news of both Lauren Socha (Kelly) & Iwan Rheon (Simon) would not be returning (Antonia Thomas aka Alisha was killed off last season) so the only people who are staying from season three is Curtis & Rudy who joined last season, personal I neither like both of them massively so this already started season 4 off to a bad start but being an optimistic, I looked forward to the new members who joined the cast! Fast forward four months and Misfits is back! Now watching the episode,it seemed like not only did the cast of season three disappeared but aswell as the story line from the past three seasons, so as a big fan of it, this confused me greatly, with no explanation of either this new story line or finishing the old one. The plot: Now the new characters seem interesting but only time will tell if I grow to like them or even if they grow my expectations of the previous cast, episode two seems very intense with one of the new characters and plenty of plot twist galore, so bring on season four!

Never knew that Marc! I always thought it was theming from the movies! But yeah "Saw" the movie is based on challenges to a set time limit, this goes with the story of the ride as at the start you see a clock with about a minute on it and when you get to the based of the lift hill it ends on 0, of course in the movie if you didn't complete the mission before 0, it would end in your death... which a think the ride has taken too seriously

Subway!! Them £3 deals make my wallet & tummy very happy I rarely eat McDonald's now days, I mean I know its called "fast food" but buying food that will only fill me up for 5 minutes isn't fun IMO

Fred pretty much covered it, but also if you have an Android or Apple device, remember to download the App for queue times when on park! Towers rides have good throughputs on most of their big attractions so if the wait looks long, the queue will go at an reasonable pace

Don't just blame Towers Fanboys, Thorpe Fanboys are just as bad! I agree with Mark, the whole rivalry thing is boring, personally myself, I would class myself as a "Towers Fanboy" but even though I went on a really busy day to Thorpe, with some breakdowns and over sold fastrack, I was really positive about it! So not all Towers Fanboys are bad Though I would say BPB fanboys are twice as worse as Thorpe's & Towers put together

I would also like to mention while Lady G has been working on an ARTPOP she has been letting her Little Monsters have some music to feed their needs! This one recently got released in a special game Lady G herself put onto the little monsters website and its Mother Monster herself putting her vocals on one of Zedd's (another one of my favourite artists) tracks, and it is just fantastic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=odSjoD491b4 (I believe that version has been sped up but never less, amazing) Also I've been searching around the interweb recently for "Mash-Ups" of two songs from each of my all time favourite artists, Ellie G & Lady G and came across this beauty Poker Lights! Fantastic news! I'm so glad the resort side of Alton Towers is finally getting touched up! I look forward to seeing how this project progresses on!

This makes me wonder why TST are having a massive debate about new trains when I've just released 8 trains full of 8 riders = 64 people! Thank you Sidders!

SW7 Statistics have been revealed thanks to the local newspaper of staffordshire! It states that: The maximum speed of SW7 will be 85kph (just above 50mph) The highest drop is 30m It will have an track length of 1,170m And will last a whole 165 secs But the most interesting point is that it will have an capacity of 64 people per a ride! So jealous! I love how Disney have consistency with their Halloween themeing and don't just dump it into one part of the park I, myself will be going to the 6th annual Scarefeastfest! Very excited

Meanwhile in Paramount Park Spain, which is suppose to open in 2015.. Credits to Theme Park Guy for the photos It doesn't give you much hope for this project does it

Universal have the rights to the transformers ride I believe, not Paramount, even though Paramount are part of the film, so its very unlikely we would get the transformers dark ride

Unfortunately, I have researched the past Paramount Park's and pretty much they have only got to groundbreaking stage then disappear into thin air, hopefully this won't be one of them! But I'm not holding my breath over it
