No, it doesn't mean they should get one. But there's a lot of things Thorpe should or shouldn't do and they often do the opposite instead. They bought a SkySwat knowing the other one had been fooked on and off since it opened. If Huss could persuade them they've ironed out the problems with the design Thorpe could end up with one.

No it wasn't, that was just the end of its advertising "Big, enormous, giant, humongous, great Thorpe Park". We should be able to expect a new flat or two over the next few years, especcially if any of the existing ones come to the end of their life. I would like a good old spin and spew, since Calgary Stampede went that is what is missing for me. It's hard for them to advertise a ride like that in a way to make it worth their while though so I doubt it would happen, makes it hard to introduce a good solid filler that isn't some new fangled prototype. The closest I think I can hope for might be a Huss Jump2, it is spectacular looking enough

If you rode a wild mouse backwards you would likely need a spinal board when you got off, you need to brace yourself for those sorts of twists and turns. Had they removed X we would know about it, you can't just make a fairly massive coaster disappear. They might work on X and amend it in some way, but not replace it.

I suggested the Ministry of Sound thing off the top of my head in a post months ago when we first started speculating, just seemed like a good idea and not because I had any info it would happen, and it has just seems to have hung around since. I have no idea if MoS sponsorship is really happening, but it would be the first time I had guessed something like this and got it right. I think it is most likely that this 'rumour' here stems from that post and is not based in any reality. That's not to say it's not having work of some sort done on it. For those speculating over the lack of X photos on facebook, it currently looks exactly the same as it always has other than a layer of snow on the roof, and nothing like an Egyptian pyramid. On the inside though, who knows? A spruce up of some sort remains a strong rumour and may be true for once, with a reversal of the trains to forward mentioned loads in previous posts. As for the facebook clues, it couldn't be any more clear to me it is referencing backwards Swarm at the back of the train rumours. Sadly.

Due to the way they are put together think it is a relatively quick and simple thing to do, like literally a few hours work.

Because in a 'theme' park a bright blue meccano bridge shouldn't really cut it. This is what bridges look like with a theme, or even just made to look aesthetically pleasing.... While I was never expecting anything more, what we are getting looks like a disgraceful thing to have at the front of your park to welcome everyone in. Even if it is is 'just' for a couple of years.
