I spy with my little eye, something beginning with F and ending with UCK... FIRETRUCK!I'm not over keen on the supports holding up the propeller on the right of the wing, but that is necessary so I can't really complain.

Looks AMAZING! I do hope they finish the fuselage of the plane off though. The plans show it being partially submerged in water but at the moment its only resting on the island and half of it is ripped off. Other than that it looks absolutely fantastic and I love the way the finish of the front is different to the back bit under the zero-G due to it crashing etc. Looking at the man next to the propeller you can see the sheer size of that scenery as well. The track in the background winding round its self is amazing and I can really see this being a faultless project if Thorpe stick to the plans.EDIT: I looked at the plans and it is built accordingly, firstly well sone to Merlin for actually sticking to some plans and theming a ride well and secondly, I can not possibly fault its amazingness! And the 'man' is just an orange life saver ring...

Sorry for the double post but I just read the posts above and wanted to keep my contribution to the subject separate to my Skyrush post.Firstly, I find this photo a weird one for looking big or small. The crest of the lift hill and arguable the main part of the drop make it look like any other B&M hyper, but the bottom of the drop and the proportion of the surroundings in comparison make it look huge! The barrel roll thing that is partially constructed in that picture is of a similar height to The Swarm's main drop, that gives you an idea of how HUGE this thing is...As for the colour scheme, It's personally growing on me, but the below picture pretty much sums up the sheer size of the ride and why CW chose the colours they did.

Seems Skyrush and The Swarm have a lot in common. Vertical construction took ages to start on both of them, and both of their supports were at some point in contact with water surrounding the construction site. Skyrush is a lot worse in both cases however. Especially the second one as the above picture may justify...

I think Kevvy meant that he is not a fan of the Lez Cougan page on Facebook and never will be, so requests somebody to post the videos here so he can view them anyway. Doesn't make much sense as he may as well just like the page but never mind...

I know I'm not in your position and I can't see things from your POV but I use a racist bit of bant to this Chinese girl in my year. She looks completely English and you wouldn't know she's Asian, but for every other comment she makes, I find a way to incorporate her nationality into it. don't mean it and I wouldn't dare make any discriminate remark to anybody other than her because I know she takes a joke. Maybe you'r friends are doing that? I'm not at all racist but I do take the mickey a bit with people I can tell will take it to the chin. If you try your best to ignore it, your friends will stop and then you won't have to put up with it at all.

I just thought, after the inline twist you head straight into the break run. The platforms on either side of the first set of brakes (and arguably the second) will act as a great foot chopper. I just watch a recreation and even at a reasonable speed, I could imagine people thinking they are going to hit their legs on the platforms to the side.
