Post of the century is up
-
It's Maurer I believe
-
It'll be back open soon. It often has the occasional multi-day meltdown
-
It was good but it wasn't lifechanging! I felt the same about Frozen too though so maybe I'm just not one for the Disney hype train
-
Please direct any topspin shanter to our dedicated thread here

Very very mixed feelings Edit: It feels like a Disney themed park rather than a 'Disneyland' (If you get me)

Get Me Out Of Ministry Of Sound Official Meet 18th July 2015
Tom replied to AJ 's topic in TPM 2015 Meets
To be fair I wouldn't have expected AP discount at a club night That's basically London prices, how is anyone supposed to have a good time without spending a fortune! Is there any effective way of predrinking? (Disclaimer, I know you don't have to be smashed to have fun) -
Literally never remember anyone shouting EXTREMIS
-
I'm with Turtle on this It's been open a day and its (potentially) most interesting feature has been revealed due to laziness of not spoilering
-
They probably saw it and thought 'Wow, this person has nothing better to do than complain about a few fountains'

The world has gone insane

Lets stop calling people tossers thank you

Hmm I can see Towers opening their new coaster and the press being like 'UNSAFE PARK OPENS NEW UNSAFE RIDE'
-
The aim is not to be a perk but to make queueing bearable for sufferers of mental or physical illness who cannot queue

No, he insinuated that you might think he is Everyone needs to stop looking for personal attacks in these posts

They're lucky! I've worked at jobs as an under 21 being paid less than them; and minimum wage for 16-18 is ridiculous, 4.20 an hour or something?!

I wouldn't call it patronising at all; I genuinely believe you have to experience or be quite directly influenced by such a thing to understand it fully I'd have hoped studying Psychology at degree level gives me a good insight into symptoms, severity, problems, and incidence rates of many.

He did say mild ADHD I suppose it's a strange subject because mental illnesses are incredibly difficult to diagnose properly compared to physical illnesses as there are no obvious physical symptoms (I.e. a broken arm can be X-rayed, but you cannot do an X-ray to test for depression). There are many people walking around who would be diagnosed with Mild ADHD but haven't thought to go to the doctor to see if it's a problem. So you get the effect of people walking around the park queueing as normal who may suffer just as much from an illness as those who are skipping the queues, frankly the park should get some insight from a mental health professional to determine who can and cannot queue. Key word in Josh's post was 'mild' I think.

Having worked on Dragon's Fury on Chessington, there are no rules about waiting for a test car to come back - Sometimes trains are sent empty just for convenience depending on the fault. It is still unknown why the car moved on from the lift hill after waiting for 10-20 minutes - I'm doubtful that the operator would have the ability to override the blocking system, and would expect engineering to have to get involved, but I don't know the procedures on the Smiler at all. There are trim brakes between the lift hill and section of track where the trains collided, however they would not have been able to stop the train as they are just trims. The 'block brake' is the lift hill in this situation.

Well this is in poor taste.
