For some reason when I first saw this picture, SW7 popped into my head. I think it would be great if the oblivion guy showed up again only this time looking something like this. Also, here is something I created on coasterforce showing the area of SW7, originally from the aerial imaging from flickr.

I don't think thorpe will try to make another permanent scare walkthrough type of thing in the time to come, after Saw Alive. Maybe if it contained something very different, in the sense of public interaction with what happens, than there could be a chance.

Looking around Gerstlaur's website, I found these new theming proposals for this attraction. As mentioned in a comment from another ride like this one on youtube, the person said thorpe would be getting one. And it was also suggested on this forum somewhere. I think this would fit in well beside The Swarm.

An article which has taken my interest, and I have a feeling that this will be the 2013 ride. Reason for why I say this is as follows: 'KMG is currently working on a deal for a “Speed” (Booster) ride about 230-feet tall and holding 24 to 32 riders. The first unit will be delivered in 2013. Also planned for 2013 is a 230-foot Inversion that will premiere in Europe.' Yes, I know any theme park in europe could get it but I feel that this ride suits thorpe park's target audience. Looking over other forums, and images of the plan, and stuff from here, I have a feeling that the new 2013 ride will be based where the river marquee is. I remember it was mentioned in the MTDP, that the events once held in the marquee will take place at the hotel instead. Also, on the plans which show possible locations for where the coasters would be, it says 'experience' where the marquee is. Things to back up an attraction being there is also because it's beside THE SWARM and also because there would be no use of the river marquee, since there isn't a view of a river anymore. That location is also a considered place to put a flat ride.

It does, but it wasn't on during the family and friends day. Should be working opening day though.

Also, I'm not sure if you lot have realised, that the ride cameras are after the zero-g roll leading into the inclined loop. If you want to see it for yourself, pause the video at 0:23 and you should see some metal poles on either side of the track, with the cameras on top.

Where are people getting all these sources from, especially the commissioned one and the advert one. I'm not saying it's false, but just that it would very interesting to know where it's coming from.

Would thorpe allow us to record POVs, since the general public won't be there when it's our time?

I'm thinking that the rain will stain it, and eventually give it a grey colour. But I can't wait, if they do, to see plant life grow onto the church such as ivy. That would look great.
