Could someone explain to me how exactly you get split up in CITW & MBV? I didn't go FN last year so I don't know, and seeing as this never happened in the mazes before the overhaul, I'm kind of worried about being split up/put on my own. I'm aware that there's 2 routes (tunnel/the other way I think ???) on MBV, but do you get split up and then made to walk through the rest of the maze alone, or are you split up with more than one person? And same for Cabin, where abouts are you split up and are you on your own when you're split up, or with other people? And do you regroup with the rest of your group after? And does this happen every time, or is it inconsistent (from experience?) I understand that people who haven't done the mazes before don't want it spoiled for them, so if you're not comforable with answering in the topic, feel free to private message me! I'd really appreciate this information, thanks.

rage is rough as hell

I second this. They had it playing on Rush, Colossus, Inferno and all the around the park, it was really epic in the queuelines and going up the hill on Colossus.. anyone know what it is? I'm in love with it .

That just made my day .

Ahh, damn. Someone has got to do a spoilerish review of Brave It Alone! I won't be doing it, as I've already been to the park.. but I really want to know what happens. Nudity in the mazes? How could that even tie in with the theme of any of them? Damn, that's got me really curious now, but if they can't say anything I guess they can't say anything... but it's not like Thorpe is gonna hunt you down and murder you if you tell us what's in a maze?

Yeah, MBV was the tamest. The worst thing that happens is you get stopped, and I was scared of being split up, but the woman near the entrance (not an actor) just said if you and your friend hold onto eachover, the actors shouldn't do anything, and they didn't, so we were together. We did however, get stopped by Harry Warden (yeah we saw him clearly and stuff) behind the group who we were with earlier (just the 2 of us), but all he did was bang his pickaxe very loudly against the wall, and then let us go. He didn't even jump out, as we were a bit behind our group who were infront, and I think he heard us coming, so after he jumped out at the group infront, he just sort of stood there and blocked our path. Wasn't scary at all tbh, me and my friend were just laughing at him. The noises were quite loud though, but not sudden, as he did it right in front of us. Was quite entertaining. We also got stopped a bit earlier by some crazed miner dude, who was an awesome actor.. but none of it was very scary. Bit of a joke labelling it as the only 5 star maze on scare factor on the map, CITW was scarier!

@RubyRed95, idk how to quote on mobile so I'll do it here. It's all pretty confusing on the site so basically you pick a time slot, and that time slot is the time of your first maze. You buy the tickets online and they give you a code which you need to write down and bring the credit card you ordered it with to the park. You then give the card and the number to the desk with 'Box Office' on it, it's to the right. They then give you a fast pass with your times on it. So your first maze will be randomly picked but will start at the time you booked (I chose 3 and got given Saw Alive), anyway you get a 30 minute time slot to get to each maze do them, but don't worry, the fast pass queues were never over 10 minutes for me, and I went on Saturday. So say for example you picked 4 for your time, your next maze after your first (they're all in a random order you find out on the day, but you get all the mazes except BWP) will give you from 4_30-5 to get there and do it, and the next will give you from 5-5:30 and so on. It's worth it if you're gonna do all the mazes, 18 quid for fast track (which you'll defo need on a Saturday) for all 4 mazes. If you sort of understand now, I'd advise you to book them, sorry if I'm bad at explaining. Btw, you can also pick up your Annual Pass 5 pound entrance tickets along with you're fact passes from the same place, but you need the credit card again and your MAP. Hope I helped .

Went on twice in the dark yesterday, all fire, lights, smoke and water effects were working. The fire went off when I was on the front in the dark, it was amazing .

Looking at the official website, I'm guessing the rumoured inversions are inside.
-
Same, haha. Thanks for the help guys, gonna get there for 9 tomorrow, hoping they open the park at like 9:30. Also, so we don't have to queue 2 hours or so later on, we're sprinting straight to Saw .

Thanks! I'll get there for 9.

Hi, I'm going this Saturday and need to pick up annual pass tickets and fastpasses from the annual pass place and the advanced sales building. What time do these ticket offices open (already got a MAP) and will the park open before 10? Thanks in advance!

http://www.thorpepark.com/crashpad/default.aspx?tabname=EVENTS#bwpExperience "Blair Witch Project Overnight Experience" Anyone else seen this? Sounds interesting. EDIT: Just gone through the site where you book the Crash Pad, and it has it down as "Blair Witch camping/horror experience" or something like that on the opening times. So.. if you actually stay in the tent... that's mental. It's pretty vague on the site, still have no idea what it actually is, but for 145 quid per person, it better be good.

So now I know how to get into the control room on CITW..what's in it? Can you actually control anything or is it just the control room itself?

Fright Nights Director's Cut and Merlin Annual Pass Holder ticket question
Graw replied to Graw's question in Quick Questions
But.. the time for each one is half an hour? And it continues for 2 hours because I get 4 mazes.. if I'm correct? -
For anyone who's been in it, does the CITW maze feature the Hell Lord like the Universal version does? This is the dude I'm talking about: http://youtu.be/2nUH2fc01gY?t=1m58s.

Fright Nights Director's Cut and Merlin Annual Pass Holder ticket question

Thanks for that! So I'll be spending around 2 hours on mazes? That's fine by me . Thank's for the help. -
What happens in the control room and how do you control it? Watched CITW yesterday and absolutely loved it, so really looking foward to this maze the most.

Hey, I just bought (off my credit card) a 5 pound ticket for FN on October 12 for me and my friend. I also got us a Director's Cut fastrack ticket each. The time on the Director's Cut is "15:00-15:30"... does this mean we're gonna get on all 4 mazes in half an hour, or the first one starts at 3? There are no other times booked for us, just that one...? Also, do I pick up my MAP holder tickets AND the director's cut fastrack tickets from the Advanced Sales Building or the MAP tickets from the Annual Pass buidling and the Director's Cut from the ASB? Thanks in advance, I really need these questions answered .

I'm not sure if you're talking about today, but when I went on Saturday the queue's weren't actually that bad at all. Most I queued up was an hour for front row Stealth, including a delay of like 10 minutes when they had to put the second train in. I got on like 13 rides, all the big coasters, shortest we queued was walk on for Saw at the beginning of the day.. So this Saturday.. wasn't actually busy at all, and club nights were on aswell!

I rode this ride yesterday for the first time in like a year. Last year I didn't renew my MAP, so only went once. When I went my friend was to scared to ride it because of the queue, and I couldn't be bothered to ride it alone. It was good, and I really enjoyed it, but I think the queue line needs some sprucing up. When I went October last year, there was a very freaky atmosphere around the ride, with the shotguns being heard from outside (they didn't seem as loud as the first time I rode, 2 years ago, but I don't remember a lot of it) and the music playing. Me and my friends got on the ride first thing (we ran) and there was nobody in the queue, there was no music playing and just the guns. Quick question about the shot gun noise, where the hell does it 'come' from? There's just a speaker playing it, but I can never see the actual gun. The dude in barbed wire in the queue is quite a cool feature, though. Anyway, good experience. The indoor section was amazing imo, the outdoor section was meh. Just like Rage, which I find quite tame. The outdoor drop was a lot better than Rage's though. It was a good ride, but not my favourite. Stealth Front Row and The Swarm Front Row were my favourites of yesterday, mainly because on Swarm the fire happened whilst we were on ride, and we got soaked by the water effect. Good day, and I liked this ride more than I thought I would, didn't think it was rough at all tbh, Colossus is a lot worse! I still have no clue where the 'shotguns' that make the noise are in the queue line though.

In the half term, I visited the new dungeons. It was great. A lot more actor based than the old one, obviously. The Jack The Ripper section was longer. Every other section that has made a return has been revamped, except Sweeny Todd's chair section. The pie shop section before it was hilarious. There's loads of new sections and to be honest, it isn't as scary as the old one. It is a better expierence though, and a lot more fun.

Was just about to post the link. Apparently this video is made by some 'Marketing Company' situated near Towers, but the company have reported that they made it for fun, after going on the Sanctuary at Scarefest, and that it actually isn't an official piece of filming made for AT. I still think it's far too professional for them not to use!

I'm going on Saturday, getting there for opening. Any idea how busy it will be?
