  1. Well, if they have the scare zone as the path behind depth charge, you have a large area that doesn't block access to the swarm or flying fish, and already has the fire truck for theming. They could go for the whole military thing with spotlights and army trucks. Soldiers shouting and the wounded trying to grab you?
  2. Such a shame about the verbolten news, as it looks like an ok ride. Those covers on xflight aren't bad, and at least there's yet another wing rider, which isn't a ba thing.
  3. Interesting to see it is quite close to nemesis in terms of the forces, yet proves which is superior.
  4. This could be good, but will it be as impressive as "Disney Dreams"? I'm not convinced.
  5. Whoa, are you sure it was definitely not an actor?
  6. But Disney have the ability of not needing a new ride every year. and hundreds of millions of dollars to spend.
  7. That could be. Although looks a bit more electricals than shooty fire.
  8. They built their hotel ALREADY?! What will watchdog say?

    SAW: Alive

the funny thing about the slogan is that it never has been open all year round, just all season (actually, its only managed one full season in operation, sheesh.) the mazes work, so they keep them. they will improve them, or keep them the same, depending on how successful they are ( an example being asylum). lets face it, the budget for fright nights will be no where near universals, will it? so it isn't right to expect mazes to be that good. but the mazes in the UK are actually pretty good. Am I right in thinking that at the Universal mazes, the actors aren't allowed to touch the guests, only jump out?
  10. plural on the firetruck. there be two.

However, if the maze is only on the 4-9 opening, then should the actors be more able to give it their all?
  12. I think they have probably just attempted too much too early, if they want to become an event heavy park, they should bring it in slowly, building the RELOAD popularity.
  13. It's funny that isn't it, almost as if dollywood can't do any wrong. In fact, it does seem like there is a devotion to Dollywood on most American-based sites. compare this to US coverage of The swarm, and it is literally "they have one too". It'll be interesting how the dollywood lovers will react to a better themed ride being at a six flags.
  14. But ride hosts have the right to turn anyone away, so they would be allowed to turn away those who seem dodgy. Isn't that one of the park rules?
  15. It actually isn't though... It's a large piece of curved steel.
  16. Saw the raft ride. Everyone gets a reverse bear trap fitted. You have the worlds most intense water ride!
  17. But facades add weight, so surely they have to be attached for it to pass safety checks?
  18. huh... an ugly B&M. it honestly wouldn't surprise me if they left it like that. after all, they are the people who brought us such genius park designs as "the car park effect".
  19. I do wonder what the effect on London bridge experience will be, once their competitor takes all those guests away from the are.
  20. So do merlin own county hall, and I wonder why they are concentrating their attractions. Is there room for Madame tussauds as well, because then they may do something like the blackpool tower tickets?
  21. I went on it with a group of friends two weeks ago. Everyone else was dry but one guy got so soaked that he needed to go buy a new top.
  22. It depends on the supplier of energy. You also have to remember that it is more expensive, simply because it is in the south east.
