  1. Footage of the LEGO Ninjago Fireworks : (ThemeParkCollective)
  2. That sort of reminds me of my one pet hate about Cabin. Since when in the film were there dozens of rednecks - both inside and outside the Cabin???
  3. If this means no courtroom scene, I will actually scream.
  4. The thing that seems to partly get me about the fireworks is the music. Not only is it amazing, but I also love how unlike previous years (*glares at Indiana Jones 2009 fireworks*) the fireworks were actually in time! Really did create an immersive story as well! Oh, and talking of park music, no prizes for guessing what was one of the tracks on the parkwide audio for the Halloween side of the event! (Linky)
  5. Unfortunately that won't include me. I would've given mine back a month before! :/

Fortunately it's another one of my favourites from the album!
  7. I'll have all the time in the world then! Count me in!
  8. It'll be nice to see Cabin have its layout kept but to be rethemed to WC16.

I've had Definitely Maybe for a while now, and I've recently become hooked on this track.
  10. Looking at the video for Curse, I really won't be surprised if they HAVE reused the Mystery soundtrack, considering it's in the video!
  11. Looks like the themed facade is now going up! That's definitely brickwork.
  12. Are you honestly assuming that could top an indoor DeLorean Time Machine coaster???
  13. So I'm currently doing Cisco Networking as part of my IT course, and after getting 34.7% on my Chapter 2 exam last week, I had to resit on Monday (which partly explains why I backed out of Face It Alone on Sunday night)...but after having NO time to study over the weekend, I had it moved to today...and today I resat and got 98.0%! Dead chuffed!
  14. Chessington's mazes had each of those. Take Vampire: The Haunting In The Hollows for instance, using your points: A reason why you are there: Van Helsing needed your help to find out what was happening to the residents. The promo video from 2012 also featured a letter from him, urging visitors to "meet him at the gates to Black Hollow". A reason for you to have to go through the maze: Van Helsing sends you into the village to speak to the residents. An engrossing possibly real story: Chessington achieved this by slowly piecing together an immersive story as visitors progressed through the attraction, like pieces being added to a jigsaw puzzle. Atmosphere: As it was an outdoor attraction, fog and low lighting were used to really amp up the atmosphere, especially after dark. A climactic end: Visitors finally encountered Count Dracula and were forced to continue through a strobe maze filled with his fellow vampires...which could also happen to be the missing residents of Black Hollow.
  15. What I can only assume is that Derren Brown was in fact one of the creators of the ride and NOT the theme. We had Michael Grant create the Night Terror and Cannibal Cult for Fright Nights last year, so it could be likely they got hold of Brown for the design of WC16. You also have to remember that Thorpe are claiming the ride as one that'll "blow your mind". If they want to make it that amazing and awe-inspiring, then where's the harm in bringing in someone who's pulled off some truly amazing illusions that almost seem impossible?
  16. Queue jumpers. When we were queueing for SAW Alive last night (around 8:15), there were a whole bunch of teenage jerks behind us who would CONSTANTLY (and I do mean constantly) ask us if they can go in front of us! I'm sorry, but that is not on! Ejected from the park? No! People like this lot deserve to be banned from visiting the park altogether. Anyway, do excuse me for ranting. They eventually got fed up with waiting and finally left the queue via the revolving gate that alters the extension queue route. This was my reaction to their departure.
  17. Correct! First track from their debut album 'Definitely Maybe' from 1994. The lyrics I posted were actually the first few lines! Fire away!
  18. Fantastic meet! It was a pleasure seeing familiar and new faces again. Thanks Peaj for organising it and I'll hopefully see most of you at Christmas!
  19. Those who were on the meet today may know that at the last second, I actually backed out of Face It Alone! It's not what I'd call wimping out though. I most likely would've gone for it if it weren't on a college night... Next year though!
  20. Quite a bit! (Thrill Nation) (Note the Slippery Serpeant car to the right of the clown face! )
  21. Really not surprising to see a large doorway back there tbh. Those (few) who've been round the back of Atlantis Submarine Voyage would've seen it coming.
  22. Well surely there could be a reason why ponchos were distributed last year.

To cut a long story short, I chopped a novel in half today.
