I'm gonna say, procrastination happened.

Um, six hours? Isn't there normally six hours between lunch and dinner? Although I'm pretty sure unless you're anaemic or diabetic skipping a meal will do you no long term damage. "...they could get stuck upside down. It didn't bear thinking about". Actually I think anyone with half a brain considers this possibility before boarding a ride that goes upside down. Just like you consider roll-backs and getting smacked in the face by a bird. Just eventualities you need to take into consideration before getting on a ride.

Back when it was installed there was a more 'Disney' mentality in terms of theming and imagination. I think the dripping blood theory isn't totally out there, it is right underneath a Vampire bat after all.

Pretty useless to ask with out an image huh. I don't think it's representing the BubbleWorks. If anything it seems to be indicating that Transylvania is a place of storms.

So above the archway into Transylvania there's a crest of sorts. It has a large vampire bat, water drops and lightening bolts. The bat's obvious but anyone know what the other pictures symbolise?

I'm not around kids or kid people much so these things are a mystery to me. I know the very basics, like you get the school trips then school holidays but then kids go back to the dungeon.

For real? I tried to visit Chessington at the very end of the school holidays last year, took one look at the gate and left. It was the stuff of nightmares. Is there a 'quiet days in summer' strategy?

It's begun, the first school trips have started flocking to our nations attractions. It's queue season till September in my books.

There have been a lot of complaints about inept staff this season, but does that mean things will improve slightly during the summer holiday when pre-trained staff return?

I think the best we can hope for is that they purchase a second hand topspin that will take advantage of the water effects already in place.

The rep who posts on behalf of Chessington on their Facebook page says he'll have a date for completion within the week. At this stage that counts as a small degree of progress.

I thought Fright Nights were by booking only now? Surely if that's the case they can most definitely reduce queue times.

The original BubbleWorks absolutely reminded me of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. The way that everything was made in a literal, nonsensical way. Fruit squash being made in a squash court, a milkshake created by shaking a cow. In fact that's exactly how you would have explained the old ride to newcomers, Wiily Wonka with fizzy pop. Now...well I guess it's Imperial Leather's love note to itself.

Thing is most folk under 20 instantly think of horror and scares when you say Transylvania. The factual Romanian region is nowhere near as exciting as the home of Dracula.

I guess the wolves have definitely been locked up till Halloween then...shoot. TY!

At this rate the place will look as soulless as Six Flags.

I think if it were A-grade horse there'd be less complaints.

I used to eat in the Burger King, mainly because of the trippy décor in the restaurant I must admit. But now I hear the in-house burgers are rank I think I'll just move from junk food vendor to junk food vendor. I mean I never really feel like eating a big meal anyway and it's a special day, so eating donuts and ice-cream seems like a better plan then paying for a nasty burger.

I think your far more likely to fall in with the Bubbleworks barrel boats then you are in Dragon Falls. But either way it's just shallow slide to climb out of.
