  1. Well if it's raining and you don't mind then you might as well ride Tidal Wave, so long as you have a change of the essentials.
  2. Returned from a weekend at BPB ; if you've never been, you really must go, for a couple of days. Infusion though was bashing the ears more than in the past. It is a different type of park to TP and run in a different way. It has enough thrill rides for most members to thoroughly enjoy their visit, and take time out to do some traditional rides.
  3. It is odd how many people "wish" for a roll-back, but the delay it would cause would be really annoying, and as I understand, it would be for a computer reset, and take about twenty minutes. I consider myself very lucky, that having ridden it lot's of times, I have never had a roll-back and don't want one. ......and it really stings in the rain, they put me on twice on the front in a shower last year and I backed out of a third, as my hands were stinging from protecting my face.
  4. Haven't been there since I was a kid - and that was a long time ago. The fair used to cover the whole of the Midsummer Common, massive.

But you were right that swing A exceeds 90degrees, thanks.
  6. Definitely they have used that pricing structure for at least two years, so by "shopping wisely" you save.

Testing again today with the water dummies.

I'll agree with that, long cycle today, but less on Rush?
  9. Nice one, but don't see many arms raised in the air.
  10. Toby NBZ - "Inferno 31" that's going some considering the distance of the walk round, nice one.
  11. Though I have seen some old dogs there.
  12. Ah, I didn't read that properly - doh!
  13. Hmm, not the thing that I buy, but I've always seen them as a disappointment seeing as they only show the rider, not really the ride.
  14. Actually, there are two, you'll have to have another look.
  15. As to the bag drop, with one train today, they were "dropping" on the platform, but it would be dodgy if two trains were running.
  16. Not surprised, it can really sting even in a light rain. slow start today with technical problems for the start - so I had to take a tour round other rides New staff still not up to speed and shortages meaning lack of control on the loading.
  17. and No launch!
  18. It happens on Nemesis at AT - on some similar rides there is a drain hose that takes it down below victims riders level.

That's not nice, I want all the rides working all the time, it reduces the queue on the one I want to be in.
  20. I love the hot rod for the photoshoot! vrooooooooom!

Love the Colossus ride, dislike the trains, terrible if you get a cramp. As to the Italian job, saves me a trip further than TP.
  22. A real up and down day all round then.
  23. An interesting day, mainly due to the changes in staff and so many managers with their "helping hands" with little groups of new staff. Noted that Security are "dressed down" not sure if this was because it was pass holders only. RIDECOUNT: Nemesis Inferno x 3 Colossus x 2 Saw x 2 Rumba Rapids x1 .............................................................................Oh Yeah.............................Stealth x 23
  24. Just getting your money's worth out of lunch then.
