Summer Nights
I guess tidal wave isn't as major and I doubt many people ride tidal at summer nights therefore not many people would be disappointed. If stealth/any other major coaster was down and not replaced I reckon there would be a lot of unhappy guests. My guess is they would replace it with something along the lines of detonator or vortex as they were open on the extended openings till 9pm last year

Summer Nights
Thank you I should be going this Friday so I hope that it isn't too busy. Do you know if one of the major coasters is down, do they replace it with another ride? So if stealth was down would they replace it with something like rush? Many thanks.

Summer Nights
Hi all, Might be visiting summer nights this Friday for the first time or possibly next week! As I no longer have an annual pass I would have to book my ticket online, however some people are saying guests can buy them £5 on the day? This slightly confused me. Also do I have to collect my wristband/ticket for the night at the advanced ticket collection. If so, what time do you reccomend I get there so I can be in the park for 7pm. Bear in mind I am only arriving for summer nights not the whole day. Many thanks, James

Rameses Revenge
Just gonna go back to when I visited on Sunday 6th July. Rode rameses 6 times and got both of the first settings 3 times each However, on our last go in the queueline the ride broke down however lowered itself after 5 minutes. This was apparently due to people being too fat and the restraint not locking properly. There was a new procedure I noticed in which they sent it round empty(they didn't do this before) and the ride did FIVE FLIPS. We were informed by the operator that this was NOT meant to happen before we got on. When we were on the restraints kept failing to lock and they sent about 10-20people off as their restraints weren't locking due to them being too large. By the time the ride had eventually started there was only about 4 other people apart from me and my friend on the back row alone, bear in mine there was a 20 minute queue

How Busy Is It Going To Be?
The safest bet is to go a couple of days after all schools are broken up. This way most people have gone abroad straight away for their holidays. I visited a couple of days after everyone was broken up last year and no queue peaked over 60mins. I don't know if it was just a lucky day or what but it was the emptiest time of the summer, considering I visited at sunscream where queues were up to 2 and a half hours. I'm no expert on queue times, but from my experience I think the safest bet is to wait a few days until everyone is off school and abroad...

Theme Park Studio
At the moment I believe the updates haven't been made meaning coasters and flat rides are stationary. I really would like to get it though when updates have been made. Can anyone tell me if it is worth buying now as I don't want it getting more expensive?

Theme Park Studio
Does anyone have this? Is it worth the money, I might buy it?

The 'Definitely 100% Totally Going to Happen' London Resort
I do see a fair few foreign people in thorpe, but I think that's because the foreigners are already in london looking for something extra to do. They certainly haven't come just for thorpe like I went to Spain mainly for port aventura. However, I think there may be a potential market if thorpe try and attract people from some of the smaller countries in Europe like Poland and Slovakia. My reasoning for this is that they don't have any theme parks, as of yet(Poland is getting its first in a couple of years), and if thorpe really work hard at their park, I reckon they could attract people from these smaller countries. Unforunately I don't think thorpe can attract guests from all over Europe like Portaventura does(I heard do many different languages in that park) as it just isn't big enough/resort like enough. I think they certainly could try and strive to get people from Europe but I'm not sure it will work to be honest.

Port Aventura
This is completely true. The launch and the intensity of the ride is absolutely amazing, and the final twist feels good too. These elements of the ride make it a truly extroadinary experience hence me riding it 9 times in 4 days. I couldn't stop myself from going back on

Slammer
It the same as always, the people are batched into the air gates after the ride cycle has ended and people have got off. I think it might be something to do with having one member in each control box at all times while the ride is running. The queue wasn't that long as far as I remember, we only waited about 20 and when we got off he announced it was 70. I think it was more due to the slow operations than the fact that it was busy but it was busier than I have ever seen it.

Slammer
The ride broke down about 3/4 times today though. The first time was a restraint problem, the second was then the main arm refused to raise itself and would just go up a bit then lower itself. Not sure about the third problem but it reopened within 20 minutes. Would like to see operations faster but at least it's open!

Thorpe Park Trip Reports
There were certainly a few school trips but there was a lot of adults aswell. The queue boards were completely wrong though, samurai was '5' minutes and we waited 30, and loggers was '40' and we waited 0. I'm not sure if there was a problem with the system but it was certainly very busy and it didn't help that most rides broke and stealth and vortex were closed all day.

SAW: The Ride
Rode twice today, the ride was amazing as always but the ride was very rough. It had been down most of the morning however not sure if that was to do with it.
