I can't say I've ever noticed this change - it's always going too fast for me to notice! I don't mean to go off-topic, but here's Colossus' loop viewed side-on: Now is it me or is it a play on the eyes? It looks like it has a change of curvature, yet I've watched it side-on manier times and it doesn't slow up as it goes upside down through the loop. Nor does it feel like it slows when you ride it. So does it have a change of curvature? Same question with both Nemesis'.

We're not saying that at all (at least I'm not). If anything I'm criticising the Colossus roars. Nemesis is 19 years old, when did its roars originally start? Colossus is almost half it's age and look how quickly it's taken for the roars to start compared to Nemesis. As much as Intmain coasters are good, that's crap. It's the anti-rollback device, and it's a sound that always makes heads turn.

My mate has size 15 feet and struggles with the back seats.Colossus also sounds painful to any passer-by. The roar it makes is awful, unlike Nemesis at Alton Towers.

I went recently and the parking barriers didn't seem to scan Premium passes that were bought at Chessington. Does anyone know if this problem has been fixed? The reason I ask is because my annual pass is due for renewal soon, and I drive to Thorpe more than when I get public transport to Chessington. Chessington is almost on my doorstep and far easier to go to renew.
