Planet Coaster - new theme park sim from Frontier makers of Elite: Dangerous
They have a few models you can see which are being used in the game. The B&M hyper looks far more detailed than the one RCTW showed off. https://sketchfab.com/frontier

Chessington General Discussion
There are many things in it which you could easily throw back at them but I would want to read the attractions T&C's before saying anything for certain. Any other place I would also not be "that" guy. However with Merlin I'm very happy to be the one which kicks up a fuss. Then again everyone here already knows that.

Yeah beat you to it Must say I do enjoy reading those terms and conditions from time to time. Section 12 to me implies that they can not charge premium pass holders for parking at any point. Also not entirely sure but when they say "like xyz but not limited to". I thought that it was too vague and so the court would rule in the defendants favour.

Chessington General Discussion
Merlins annual pass holder terms and conditions do not allow for charges to premium pass holders for parking. In fact having read the whole terms and conditions there doesn't seem to be a clause that allows them to charge for premium parking. "12.6 Parking fees at the Attractions will be payable. For the avoidance of doubt, the restrictions and additional fees set out in this Term 12 do not apply to the Premium Merlin Annual Pass" These terms may not be changed without 30 days prior notice.

Chessington General Discussion
Before engaging in an argument confirm that Merlin have not changed the terms and conditions. They are able to change them without notification. If it is the case that they have not modified them then unleash hell, so to speak.

£10 to leave your car on a piece of tarmac. They are joking right. They charge a fortune to get in then charge a fortune to park the car. Fine if you advertise that outside the park but by the time you drive in its too late.

Reserve n Ride
Well that is a bit off because hardly anyone is using it. Any theory's on why no one is using it?

Reserve n Ride
There should be no bugs left in this system by now... Were they advertising RnR at all because once again the RnR waits were far lower than the normal queues. Would be nice to know from someone who went.
-
Reserve n Ride
So before half 11 there must have been less than 700 people using the system. Assuming that for a 10 minute queue you would need 170 people ((1000/60)*100 which would mean they get 100% of the rides capacity and all rides achieved 1000pph) and there is 4 rides that would give you around 700 people. So unless I've missed something there was less than 700 people using RnR before lunch. Was it actually working before 11:30?

Reserve n Ride
Clearly that today and all of this week Thorpe have failed to get the idea of RnR across to the people in he park. Colossus on a 75 minute queue but a 30 min virtual wait. What is the point in a trial if no one uses the thing.

The Smiler Incident 02/06/2015
Its for protection. No one is going to go and attack a crash victim where as there are some people who would attack or discriminate against a 14 year old attempted murderer.

It had a day towards the end of last season were it kept rolled back twice due to some fault with the launch system. That is the last time I was made aware of a roll back but again that doesn't mean one hasn't happened since.

The RnR site is just a basic website which is easily viewable off site. Why it is not an app with push notifications and only works on site is a mystery. However that is a rant for another time and another place.
-
Reserve n Ride
Well there is no surprise there then. Also are you able to use RnR on all rides today? Or is it just the way the site is displaying it.

Reserve n Ride
Would strongly advise that if it is active when you are there you use it. Even if it is a pain to use it, it will get you far more rides than if you didn't.

Reserve n Ride
The first trials involved no stand by queue and only operated on the swarm and they were a spectacular failure on almost every front. Technical problems, over allocation of people, no one knew what it was and so many people either missed out on the swarm or thought they had to buy fastrack. That was a really unenjoyable day, having to wait 2 hours virtually to be told it was an hour queue we had to join or we were not getting on the swarm at all. Saying that there have since been worse days with RnR.
-
Reserve n Ride
The way the system works will be that the virtual wait will nearly always be longer than the main queue. Everyone on the flat rides and even people in other coaster queues can be waiting virtually for the coaster in question. As a result far more people are trying to ride the coasters than there were before.
-
Reserve n Ride
If it doesn't have a standby queue and the system is under allocating then seats start going round empty. However if it does have a standby queue and the system starts over allocating then the main queue slows right down. A loose loose situation.
-
Reserve n Ride
The RnR virtual wait should always be longer. Unless you mean the physical wait for the RnR queue is 15 minutes.
-
Reserve n Ride
Not quite sure what you mean by that. RnR is doing its job there in making all queues a similar length. Although by the sounds of things they can hardly have anyone using it.I'm sure it will be positive reviews all round in that Colossus queue.
-
Reserve n Ride
It's just not a very busy day... I will say that RnR seems to handle pretty well when there are very few people there, but then you don't need the system as it would be fine anyway.
