Cedar fair award bonuses to ride teams that achive the closest to the maximum throughput over the course of the month. They also do bonuses for other things like friendliest. Something merlin should consider doing as it improves customer satisfaction.

Unfortunately I feel your problems with RCT3 do not lie with the hardware. RCT3 has many glitches on windows 7 and later. Such as the game will constantly crash if a park exceeds a certain size. Billboards with custom images will nearly always crash the game or cause other errors. The game itself can only use something like 512mb of ram. An ssd will boost loading times on everything saved to it (my pc turns on in 15 seconds flat thanks to the ssd) however they are normally small in size and wont hold much past the OS and a couple of games. My PC has a i5 4670k overclocked to 4.2GHz, 16GB RAM, Nvidia GTX 770 and rct3 still crashes and lags. The game is from an age where PC's didn't have anything close to what we currently have and as a result in many circumstances it cant use a lot of the new found computing power.

Having loaded it all up and checked out all of the restrictions ect. this is for a smallish park. The contest its self was tweeted about by the makers of No Limits and the person who bought the domain has spent a lot on it.

You know its near impossible to tell sarcasm through text.

The 'Definitely 100% Totally Going to Happen' London Resort

If there was actual competition in the industry I would. Bottom line is that there is no competitors in the south east as Merlin own them all. Come paramount park that will change and the industry may start to work again. -

The concept art for Saw was way better than what we got in my opinion. Also the hate on Merlin is perfectly justified. Merlin isn't this wonderful perfect company. The huge amount of hate they are getting should be a clear sign of that. -
The maximum throughput of a ride will always be the same regardless of staff. The achieved throughput will vary on staff however the achieved on rides like the smiler and 13 dont require much effort because of the rides design. Basically as long as the staff are not stopping and talking to each other the throughput will be consistently near the maximum.

They most certainly have operations of a regional park. Throughputs have nothing to do with operations, it comes down to ride/station design. The achieved throughput is operations however there is no way for the general public to know that. Simple fact is that they should open later and say they are opening later right from the beginning of the season. Currently the opening hours are so short people from down south are put off.

That late I reckon would encourage people to come form much further a field. If they did it on Fridays and Saturdays, advertised it as late closing and night rides. Introduce an after 4pm ticket. Then of course people would buy dinner as well as lunch so that's more revenue. I do also believe that they are allowed to operate until 10pm. Its perfectly viable, would encourage hotel use as well and improve customer satisfaction so would encourage their return. It works in Europe, so I don't see why it cant lend its self to the UK.

The first time this season? That is just shocking. I still think they would get far more visitors if they had opening hours in summer of 10am-10pm. 6pm should be a standard closing time.

Official Alton Towers & Drayton Manor Meet 20-21/06/2015

I wouldn't waste my time with the hotel. A load of far cheaper B&B's near by. If you're not a MAP then maybe its useful but otherwise it's just too expensive. -

New concept art has been released (can't get the link, stupid phone) which clearly shows a wooden rollercoaster in the background. It seems to be a constant theme in these concepts. -
9/10 incredible amount of swag radiating off of it.

The ride when the pumps are off naturally drains into the pond in the center of the ride.

I thought it was November 2nd 2018 inhumans and may 1st 2019 infinity war part 2. Oh my bad moved to july 2019
-
I believe inhumans is in between the infinity wars and infinity war part 2 is the final part of phase 3.

Something tells me you wont be waiting that long. SW8 should be ready early 2017 and it would make sense if that was a RMC.

Rita no longer has a srq but the smiler does
-
Well as they now have staggered openings start at the forbidden valley with nemesis and air. Then go by what's near by. Leave the smiler until 4:45 or if you are lucky it may have a short queue around lunch. If you join the queue before closing then they will let you ride. Use the 2nd day to ride the rides you missed on the 1st. Most likely sonic spinball. Rita and the smiler will be the long queues so be prepared. However they will be nothing compared to what Thorpe gets.

100% agree that age of ultron is a fantastic film. Bring on infinity war part 1 (may 2018).

Top thrill dragster has 5 trains to get ready and they manage it every day. Lack of staff should never be a problem. Simply not excusable. It's time they get rid of slammer and samurai replace them with something worthwhile. That would take some weight off of their shoulders.

Numbers over 2012 fell from the previous year. Business wise it was labelled as a failure. Now I don't think the ride was to blame but Merlin do. The swarm is by no means perfect, it's way too short for me personally. Merlin won't get another wing rider as they have already got them. They don't need to offer the same experience a few miles down the road. As for out of touch I would agree. The amount of negativity they are picking up on fan sites is crazy. Visitor numbers may be increasing but I feel that is more to do with the economic recovery and the more people in work than wise investment.
-
For what thorpe park is all the throughputs are too low. The only ride that has what I would consider a decent throughput is The Swarm. The others are just way too low. They need rides in the 1500pph where as their highest is 1200pph. Saw and storm surge are just a joke. They knew they had problems with queues when they installed those so its just madness that they chose them. Ill just hope WC16 is a 1700pph + thing. That should help, however I suspect that it wont even be close to that.

The problem with the railway is that it is a custom gauge so introduces a whole load of problems that other railways don't have. I doubt it will make a return.
