Someone photoshop Derren's face onto Mark's! Yeah I know these are Oculi, but hey - 1984 is real, Derren and Mark are the overlords of the earth. Ziltoid will probably come looking for coffee soon.

Surely you'd be a target for thieves if you're seen buying one or carrying it/storing in ride lockers?

And lug it around the whole park for the rest of the day!

Bit of a shame really, they've been doing pretty well at promoting this - the puzzles have kept us hooked and guessing, giving us a slight insight of the ride; the doll video was creepy as hell and got attention all over the globe; they've secured a pretty famous figure to work on the ride - the only other people who may be good for this are Rob Zombie, Guillermo del Toro and at a push Marilyn Manson, but they would be massively distanced from the family friendly market the park is trying to target. Remember Storm Surge's marketing? I can't think of any other ride that has promoted so badly that the only recognition it deserves is a face-palm. That ghost thing was possibly the worst PR stunt Merlin has ever pulled. The Swarm's marketing and promotion was pretty terrible too, amputating riders arms with the scenery? That would probably destroy the company if they dared do anything like that. This is just as unbelievable and idiotic as Storm Surge's drivel. On the other hand, I absolutely loved the song You Me At Six put out, still put it on every now and then. A bit of a guilty pleasure if I have to be brutally honest (saw them support Thirty Seconds to Mars in 2013 and was gutted when they didn't play it).

It's really annoying, even after all the times I've seen them they still haven't played Citizen Erased. They've played Bliss every time and surprisingly Dead Star on two of them but sadly no CE (although they've been playing it on this tour so I've got super high hopes). (This one ended up being £85, and that's coming straight through the promoters on Eventim, touts are even higher).

Also just bought myself a ticket to see my favourite band, Muse for the forth time. The ticket was hideously expensive but the band have hinted that they'll play some deep cuts from Origin of Symmetry so I couldn't resist!

Looks uncomfortable to hold too. I'll give it a go though when I next go to the park in May but I doubt I'll use it repeatably.

Intamin/Ride Trade? I hear their dark rides are similar in quality to those made by SALLY Corp. ^.^

Seeing this band for the first time in a few weeks, absolutely stoked. Will be my first prog gig unless you count Ghost and Muse as progressive bands! :L

I actually really like Derren Brown, he seems like a really intelligent bloke (and I love his shows) but just sounds a bit too condescending in the video. Listen to the radio interviews, he sounds great - I really feel like I am spoken down to whilst watching the promo (unless Merlin want us to feel like children).

All his language seems really lazy in the video, 'completely rewrite...' 'I think this represents'. Seriously Derren? I guess it is a good thing that he has time limits on his shows and has to act fast to fit everything in, sounds like a right plonker in the videos. Although I guess this relates to half of the audience you guys say attend Fright Nights!

Would TFL want to be involved considering the theming of the Swarm and the controversy caused by it?

The world's first ghost train walkthrough based on a broken ghost train! Another thought: Derren has proclaimed many times about his disbelief in religion, maybe it could be something to do with that. Plus with the fact that the ride is being built in the area that Se7en used to lay.
