  1. Film Friday Don't watch many films so uh...here's this modern masterpiece by Daft Punk
  2. Thumping Thursday If Ghost weren't aimed towards metal fans then I'm sure they'd have a few people bouncing to this.
  3. Universal Flame is from Sky Blue, one half of the double album Z2. The other half is Dark Matters, a sequel to Devin Townsend's solo album Ziltoid the Omniscient. Definitely worth a listen.
  4. Whatever Wednesday Discovered this band when they played before Ghost at Reading, their set was truly magical. Heavy, aggressive yet has a hidden beauty to it.
  5. Cheesy Tuesday Sure, Devin Townsend is the mastermind before the character in my avatar, but he isn't afraid to write a cheesy song. His last album under the Devin Townsend Project moniker contains a whole disc full of cheese, whether it be heavy, poppy or electronic. Love this track, but always find it embarrassing to love.
  6. Mellow Monday: One of the slow tracks from their latest album, really soothing and absolutely beautiful.
  7. 4/10 Vampire was closed for the whole day when I went to Chessington many years ago (too scared to go on most of the other rides, but really wanted to go on Vampire for some reason, think I was 6 or 7) You don't know who Ziltoid is? Let me educate you in the world of progressive metal: There's a sequel on the second disc of Z2, Dark Matters.
  8. Despite it being an ongoing joke within the enthusiast community, you've got to admit that Atlantis Adventure has a very interesting layout, could be a really fun ride especially if it has a good throughput.
  9. Stay in the Wetherspoons outside the park for a few hours in protest and have a few pints, giving the park less money. Then they'll soon stay open for longer if more people catch onto that!
  10. Everyone changing their avatars and each post becoming outdated
  11. Could be this One of my flatmates thought that Rollercoaster/Nickelodeon Streak at BPB was a steel coaster
  12. I bet the lie is three. I remember being scared going into Bubbleworks for the first time (this was a long, long time ago when I was in primary school). Plus people have ily names for pets. Matt Bellamy from Muse has called his Kim and Kanye.
  13. People saying that this is one of Derren Brown's experiments to enrage a lot of people haha.
  14. So have the people who have entered their details paid for them already? I entered them before 10, got no notice of them being sold out or any email confirmation. Rather confused.
  15. Didn't get to go on the Smiler as it was closed (almost two months before the crash). Rage at Adventure Island is usually a very comfortable ride although I haven't ridden it for the past few years.
  16. Same, no AP, no clubcard or enough nectar points so going to try this out.
  17. I love Colossus, maybe only because I've only ridden it for the first time within the past five years. Saw I just find uncomfy and it always gives me a headache.
  18. Dammit I thought I was going to be the first person to put some rock/punk/metal for the Thumpin Thursday. Better search my uni notes and find some acousmatic music or musique concrete.
  19. It says that Thorpe Park is collection only anyway.
  20. That's already at Thorpe Park!
  21. I imagine SW8 could be the world's first scare maze based on a toaster with dead actors.
  22. Why would it be a wing coaster? The SW8 series are meant to be innovative and world first concepts (or record breakers). Merlin already have three wing riders, do they need another? Although I doubt a Mack multi launch wouldn't really fit the SW8 banner, I really want one so can't complain!
  23. Awh, the Inferno soundtrack was awesome. The bass blaring out of the subwoofers in the station, dominating the entire nonsense. Can't think of anything to replace it. If they do the same to Colossus and even the Swarm (you have to admit it is incredibly atmospheric) I might do a Van Gogh and amputate my ears.
