Who the hell is Stormzy and why does he deserve the honour?

First of all, £25 was the original guesstimate, the cost is now dependent on the amount of people taking part and more likely to be £30-£35. I'm not 100% sure since I'm not involved with the organising but I'm doubtful that park admission would be included as the V.I.P Backstage stuff is usually a lot more expensive than £30/£35

Can I take out my votes for the 30th and 31st of July? At the time I was free but I've been roped into dogsitting that weekend so can't make them anymore.

If I end up getting tickets for this and anyone else here does I'd be up for hanging out for the evening/day! My fellow passholder friends can't make it but I don't fancy going around on my own so let me know if you're up for grouping up

I'm gutted to hear that they've cut down on the pre-show as in my opinion it's one of the best parts of the attraction! In terms of the differences in the VR I've experienced on old lady, an old man and a young man give the intro speech and I've had an old woman and a little girl break into the train during the second half of the first VR bit and I've only been on 4 times! As far as I know they are only using 1 ending currently and in terms of other VR content I have absolutely no idea. Apologies for content spoilers but it is in the thread title!

If anyone is interested in what our order ended up being..... Avalanche, Big Thunder Mountain, Colossus, Derren Brown's Ghost Train, Expedition Everest, Frozen Ever After, Galactica, Helix, Indiana Jones et Le Temple du Peril, Jaws, King Kong, Laser Raiders, Monkey Swinger, Nemesis : Sub-Terra, Oblivion, Postman Pat Parcel Post, Quantum, Rumba Rapids, Space Mountain : Mission 2, Twirling Toadstools, Ultimate, Vampire, Wet Wet Wet, X, Yeti Bounce, Zodiac. Then we went on for longer restarting! Apocalypse, Baron Acken Acken Akanen, Colossos, Duel, Enterprise, Flying Carpets over Agrabah and then we got on Stealth!

Spoke to a member of staff about 2nd ending. She seemed to believe that it is not in use currently and didn't say when it might be. Hoping for something interesting! I have been wondering whether the dolls and the demon animatronic were going to see any use besides publicity stuff. Maybe we'll see them there? She also said it was a successful opening!

I don't think the queue was ever as bad as has been suggested. Max 2.5 hours I would think. Most we queued was an hour. Had 4 rides total now!

On park again today. Opening is slated for 12pm

I won't be conTENT until they reveal to us what ideas they have PITCHED about this ride! Us enthusiasts are practically CAMPING outside the ride to find out any details possible! In all seriousness though, it's probably close to opening soon right? The mysterious tent just makes me more curious!

They were probably told to pose like that to maximise the effectiveness of the 3D effects on the images. Can't deny that it looks a bit odd though!

The 'DEPARTS IN' thing is such a small touch but I really like that Not long to go now! Though I probably won't have the chance to ride it until June/July

I wonder if in the testing phase they've found that certain seats don't respond to the VR very well or something, I can't think of many reasons why the number of people would change.

Considering the month of May ends in about 2 weeks I would hope so!

I can't fathom why people would want to subject themselves to this sort of thing.... each to their own I suppose.

Regarding the red button! It was some kind of promotion the park did not long ago tied in with the classic Dr Pepper catch phrase of 'What's the worst that could happen?' in which a red button on a stand was placed in the park somewhere and when you pressed it something would happen.

It's one thing to follow the rules but entirely another if she wasn't told the reason why. Not sure how trustworthy her words are but it seems odd not to explain the situation.

Unless you have a good reason as to why to believe your friend would have insider info I don't see that being the truth. Probably some theory someone has made up after all of the bad press from The Smiler incident. There's been so many different theories and explanations I've given up on knowing the truth! (My favourite is that Derren requested it as he wanted to make some small changes for the ride to be perfect.) Regardless of the reason for the delay it's unlikely they'll ever explain why it happened especially if it was an incident like the one your friend claims, the last thing they need is people thinking a ride that isn't open yet has crashed/broken in some way after all that's happened!

Will it still have a cost? Can't see myself bothering if it does, why would I pay for an escape room after I've already payed to get into a park to go on the rides that don't cost me extra?

Derren Brown is on park today according to his Twitter/Facebook Unsurprising considering it's been said before that he had booked this week off for the opening date which has now been delayed. It can't be far from complete as I assume he is on park to try it out in its current state. Either way just thought I'd let people know!

Yeah I mentioned that issue in the Ghost Train thread. Posting in the topic seems to fix it, it did for me anyway.
