As much as the new coaster looks amazing there is nothing to it. I agree with you. On a wing rider sort of the main point of them is the head/feet choppers. You need themeing on a wing rider. Sadly merlin have failed on this one. It could have been a really good themed experience but nope. I shall not be rushing to ride this.

Maybe the same concept (having to scream to launch) but maybe a ride similar to firechaser express?

If thorpe park wants to appeal to familes more then they should get one of these! That would be epic

How is the Air Race coming along?

This new X is epic! Me and my friend went on it 4 times yesterday as he does not like the big rides and it was so loud in there! Unreal! the lasers are epic sometimes you can't see the track so it seems like you are floating haha!

I went on quantum today and it seemed really quite fast haha! Really good ride (although there was some guy and he was screaming loudly and it was so annoying -.-) here's a video I filmed of it!

Went on stealth today and it was running fine had short queues right up until I left at 3. Here's a picture my friend took while I was in the queue

Visited Thorpe today and rode the swarm four times. The staff were quick (kind of) at checking safety bars and the queue didn't get big (was kinda big in the morning) the trains were dispatched quite quickly the fire went off every time (seemed to) and was quite powerful!

Trip report Me and my friend visited thorpe today and I must say I was very impresssed! Ride count Saw : 2x X : 4x Nemesis inferno : 1x (would have been two but the floor decided to not rise later on in the day so I left the queue as I did not want to waste my time I had left) Swarm: 4x (3 forwards and 1 backwards) backwards is excellent I finally got to try it ! Vortex : 1x (glad it's finally running at full height!) Quantum: 1x Stealth: 1x Loggers Leap : 1x (we got soaked! Haha!) Rumba Rapids : 1x Overall: The staff were all really friendly today and they were actually intrested how your day was going! Overall a really good day This trip I would rate as 10/10 Would have been better if it decided not to pour down with rain at the end of the day!

I had better take some painkillers when I go next week then if saw is giving people headaches lol

Do we think SAW won't break down as much as it has in the past?.....

Can you hear the countdown at the top? I noticed sometimes they don't play the countdown at all !

even though a lot of rides probably don't need manual checks it's peace of mind for the rider. I've been on tons of rides and feel very safe but I still like to have the bar checked by a person. Also it covers the parks in case there was an accident.

Very true! They are great fun though! But some change is good for example Spencer Stokes has bought the dreams live ride from france and now tours it under the name moondance! It's a great ride

I'd love to visit Fuji Q Highland - because of that AWESOME eurofighter and for the scary as hell haunted hosptial. Lottle World - it has an awesome launched intamin water coaster Oktoberfest - Power Tower 2, Olympia Looping, Skyfall and the largest travelling log flume and MANY MORE attends largest funfair ever! ED-A theme park - they have a Booster Maxx and a Vekoma Big Air Kirkcadly links market - Danter's Zierer Star Shape AIR debuted there in 2011 and it's a really good funfair Tokyo Disneysea - the Hotel Hightower tower of terror looks amazing and a lot better than the usual tower of terrors Tilberg Kermis - it is HUGE. They have tons of rides and AIR, Turbine, Booster Maxx, the normal Boosters, Self made top scan and starflyer and many many more its epic! Gronalund - it's epic! The starflyer looks really nice and I'm a huge fan of the starflyers and its a really nice little park !

In latest funfair news we MIGHT be getting a KMG XXL for this year. I don't know if it was a joke or is the rumour is true! Hopefully it is true who would like to see one over here?
