I would LOVE to make this meet... But I don't have my work dates for August yet and don't know when they'll be released EDIT: Have just got them shown to me and every weekend I COULD be working... So I suppose I'll just have to work work around this instead of the other way around

You may have to be a bit patient with me this day, I have a 40km long hike up and down the hills of Kent the day before in full military kit... May be a bit stiff

So many times I was terrified mine was about to fall... Especially when Adam started asking questions :') Still don't fancy my chances at Bingo though!

Well I guess you could say my winning streak continued at the Chessington meet this weekend Oh and I had my first go on Vampire ever. Yay another credit! So first, Empires. A brilliant game IMO Pick a ride (any ride as long as it's operational) and people try to guess it, while you're trying to guess theirs. Anyone you guess takes on your ride name and becomes a part of your empire, until someone guesses the name of your empire and it all becomes theirs. Well, IF someone guesses yours... Lets just say, two meets, two victories The TPM flag looks really nice on my wall, Steeplechase has served me well (still haven't ever been on it) Few tense moments though, especially when hearing other people ask someone nearby "Are you Steeplechase?" Yeah lets just quietly walk away... Vampire was really good though. We got our tickets for 1pm and from what I'd seen I wasn't expecting much. It looked a bit lame and from what I've heard is quite like Air at Towers in that it was a new technology and they didn't quite know what it was capable of and didn't want to push it too far. I was wrong, it was great The swinging mechanism doesn't look much but it feels a lot more intense than it seems. Especially in a few of the corners you can't see from the park. And just a message to all at the meet, watching you all get soaked on Rameses was hilarious I also discovered a new site most of you will know of called Ridecount. Obviously I couldn't put in every time I've been on every side ever, but I could at least add all the rides so I can have an accurate unique ride count. I did especially enjoy tracking down the parks I'd been to years ago in Italy and remembering the rides there... Going back would be brilliant Meh, maybe one day 'XD

Couldn't get a picture of the digger, was right next to the wall so couldn't get the angle enough to see it on a phone. But it is definitely there!

Mist today was filling the whole tunnel, got to the lift hill feeling like I'd had a shower... But there wasn't that much coming from the top of the volcano

Also the Stealth train that has been running recently is the one without the adjustable seatbelts

Don't worry, I really don't see myself winning Lego Bingo... My tactics so far have revolved around staying a little bit quiet, bingo actually involves 'talking' to people. New experience much.

I confess that I may have told a few lies earlier when SCB was asking questions trying to narrow down what my ride is for Empires this weekend... Sorry, but no sneak previews! The game is for Sunday!

Some people will just use the word discrimination at any point to get sympathy. What strikes ME as strange is that surely she would have thought about this beforehand? Theme park rides are notorious for breaking down, and as Thorpeparkfreak said he wouldn't be able to get out if the ride did happen to stop.

It does make you wonder when they can afford to launch a massive event like this, yet operations haven't been great over any of Merlin's parks this year and budgets have been slashed dramatically...

Wish you could change your votes after voting in polls... A lot of the dates I can do have changed due to actually getting a job (Yay! Finally! ) But it means I can now only do the 3rd, 4th, 16th, or 25th

We went to Thorpe last Tuesday and passholders were let in a little earlier (about 9:25 ish) but it didn't seem very long before all the ticket holders were let in after us so maybe they just decided to open a little earlier for everyone as they were ready.

Being a physics student I do know that, but this was way more than it should have done, that was my point.
