  1. Quick question: Why, on the billboard, where it said "Take a flight into hell", has the word hell been rubbed out and it now just says paradise? I really hope it's not due to some more Asylum style protestors...
  2. For me it's back left. Very intense, loads of hang time on the inverted drop and the near miss on the side of the billboard (after the corkscrew) is just awesome!
  3. Unfortunately, it's only a looped version of the 5 minutes released by IMAscore [emoji24]
  4. It literally feels like your inside a washing machine. Spinning and spinning and spinning! I would recommend you to try Inferno as your first coaster with inversions. It's smooth, not too fast, and very fun!! It was my first inverting coaster (way back in 2011), and I've recommended it to pretty much everyone for their first inversion coaster [emoji4][emoji106]
  5. Not really that exciting but clocks are being put up on the building Photo from TPM's FB

    Wicker Man

If the three lines could represent 2 tracks, could we be looking at something along the lines of Joris at Efteling, but themed around some sort of pirate attack or something Mutiny Bay related...
  8. I wonder what's going to happen in that second indoor section in the queue? It could contain some theming elements, TV screens, possible storyline hints? A location for live actors at Fright Nights? Who knows... We'll find out soon however!
  9. I was thinking that maybe the headsets show you the real environment (the people around you, train itself) and also the virtual and augmented features (anything taking place outside the train and other things in the train). Either way, AR will probably be involved as it is a feature that comes with the Vive.
  10. I've found Vampire to always be just an average ride. Great for families, early thrill hunters, etc. But I'm just not into it. It's pretty boring tbh. Do like the station though and the old entrance looks nice!
  11. Don't know if this has been mentioned but there's been advertisements for The Ghost Train with The Sun 'Super Saturdays'. The publicity has definitely stepped up in the last week!
  12. I hate launches! That moment when you are just about to be propelled forward is absolutely bloody terrifying [emoji33]! After it goes I'm fine with the rest of the ride; it's just that moment of anticipation. My first Fright Nights (2014) was also terrifying too! I still remember standing outside the S13 entrance and feeling as if I was going to throw up! After I came out I couldn't get enough of horror mazes [emoji1] (well good ones anyway, unlike Thorpe in 2015 [emoji52])! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I do believe it was your video Is there any way I could acquire it?[emoji4][emoji57]
  14. Ok thank you [emoji106] I did find a longer 7 minute one but the quality is very poor and recorder from a queue line speaker. Another video I found had a more hq version of it but the uploader refused to say where he got it from :/ I'll keep looking out for it though!
  15. I haven't been on it since April 2014! And I've been 11 times since then and it's never been open [emoji24]
  16. If it's working, why would they not let them open it!!?? [emoji58]
  17. I'm still trying to find The Smiler soundtrack (hq) that is longer than the 3 minute snippet. I have not succeeded.. Does anyone know where I may find a longer version of it?
  18. From the advertising and the overall theme, this will be a lot lot scarier than Th13teen and Duel.
  19. I may have to try this [emoji57]
  20. Scarefest was also my favourite last year (I've never screamed so much as I did in Sub Species [emoji23])! All three mazes were outstanding! The shocking difference in quality really bugged me, as surely both events should be consistent, and especially seeing Alton had to cope with the aftermath of The Smiler crash. I even went to a much smaller event with a very low budget in Hemel Hempstead, and even that topped Thorpe! There was a group of around 6 roaming actors I saw dresses up as clowns or something, but they just walked on by with only one of them interacting with people. I had two actors come out of role in two different mazes (Saw and Cabin)! That kinda ruined the experience :/
  21. I agree with you entirely! Fright Nights 2015 was diabolical, and that's putting it nicely. A full overhaul would be nice but I presume that'll come in 2017. A Derren Brown Maze could work (something like Svengali or The Séance) and one or two actors in the DBGT queue would be nice too (and the Saw q [emoji5]) As you said, more roaming actors would be great too; there wasn't that many last year either. And of course the persistent overselling of the Fastrack issue... That may never be resolved but we can wish! The full queue is outside (I believe so anyway as the entrance leads straight into the pre show)
  22. The Legend of Everyone's Nemesis the Colossal Giant Duck Inferno Experience. No tunnels guaranteed [emoji6]
  23. Everything posted recently says coming soon. This isn't looking promising...
