Well it's understandable to detest it in a 3 hour queue, but the 45 minute outdoor loop if heard once is an excellent soundtrack and is perfect for the rides theme. As for you point about Inferno, it is hands down the best soundtrack at Thorpe Park (excluding the Rumba Rapids obviously ). In relation to Bens post, I like the Colossus soundtrack. I don't like that it plays at every ride in the Lost City area. It was even playing at Slammer last week, and that's in Old Town! It could be a little longer also.

The slight hope I had in my doubtfulness has now been destroyed. We need an official announcement soon. If not an announcement then just open it with zero notice! It has been over a month since the intended date of opening..

Anything and everything IMAscore is always amazing! The Smiler - Amazing in it's own twisted way! Ghost Train - Amazing as it fits the theme perfectly! Helix - Amazing is an understatement! Galactica - Amazing and so beautiful! Krake - Amazing as it builds up the tension excellently! I could just keep going on and on...

Both of the two are very rough, but if I had to choose, Saw is smoother (it isn't at all smooth, but compared to Colossus...) I always have mixed experiences on Colossus. I ended up going on twice at Fright Nights last year. Back row was smooth. Third row was like having my head smashed against a brick wall. Saw is rough, but I will more regularly have a smoother experience on it. It's also funny to watch everyone at the bottom of the first drop, because every time, without fail, everyones heads on the front row jerk from left to right. I get entertained wayy to easily!

Fingers crossed that that information is true. Although surely the picture would've been kept secret, and employees would have been asked not to share the information. I remain hopefully, but we can't be too sure whether it is true or false until directly confirmed by the park.

Derren did say something in an interview (when someone asked him about the queues being massive) along the lines of, "Merlin have it all figured out". I really do hope they he is referring to something other than this dreadful rumour of timed tickets for the first few months... (felt the need to emphasize that it is only a rumour and the chances of this actually happening are 50|50). In other news, Derren Browns Ghost Train has 3 reviews on Google, even though the ride isn't open...

Maybe it does depend on where you sit. I'm honestly not too sure. I do have another confession..... I've never been to Subway. Ever. In fourteen years. Not once.

The scariest station for me is Stealth. Yes. Stealth. The constant motor revving. The 'place your heads back, face forwards' thingy. The countdown. Watching people launch to 80mph in 2 seconds. It is terrifying Every time I've been on Stealth (which is at least 20 times by now) I get the same sinking feeling, the butterflies in my stomach. Then it launches and it's amazing from that point on! In relations to the interior of Saw and Sam's post above, the interior isn't all that bad. Yes it's pretty dark, and yes the first time going through it will probably scare you a little. However, unless your scared of Billy (I wouldn't blame you if you are), it isn't the scariest thing to do. The drop is unexpected but thrilling. The arrow shooting thing is a bit rubbish but adds to the ride and the corpse isn't really noticeable. The water rarely splashes you too. So, my inspirational advice, ride it! You really won't regret the decision

And where has this information been confirmed...? Timed tickets would be dreadful. You'd probably still have to queue up for it even with the ticket booked (*cough* The Passing *cough*) and you'd also have to queue to acquire/purchase the timed ticket. On the subject of the opening day, a soft opening may be possible for sometime this week (Thursday/Friday) and then officially open it to the public next week. Or they could go down the route that Towers took with The Smiler and give practically no notice and just open it up. Whatever the outcome, I expect the ride will be fully operational in two weeks time. It can't be delayed much longer than that... Can it...?

http://www.wildgravitytravels.com/mako-soft-opens-at-seaworld-orlando/ Mako soft opened on Thursday! Read a couple of reviews, watched some pov's, etc. It looks so good I would go and ride it next Friday... If I had money, plane tickets, park tickets, accommodation, transport :/ . I must wait patiently and stay calm...

After 3 years of waiting for it to be open, I finally went on Samurai again. It was amazing!!! Still the best flat ride on park! Let us hope it lasts longer than this season. Or this month. Or this week.

Both are grim but if I was forced into choosing one Smarties. Cadbury or Nestlé?

I made the mistake of not watching a ride I wasn't sure about going on. I must've been 9/10 and there was a ride at a local fair (I think it was called Body Count; loads of fairs have them) that I thought looked fun because it had OTS restraints and I'd never ridden a ride with those sort of restraints before. The ride was hell! I was screaming my lungs out the entire way through. My legs were also being pressed against the back of the seat very very hard. It was extremely uncomfortable. The worst part about it was that I found out later I wasn't actually tall enough! The measuring stick was tilted in a way so it looks like your taller than you actually are! I was at least 4-5cm of the 1.4 restriction. That pretty much stopped me from going on anything thrilling until I went on Inferno the year after and loved it! I learnt two lessons from that experience. Firstly, fun fairs aren't very safe. It's a surprise that with health and safety putting in place lots of over the top measures that lots of these fairs get shut too. More importantly however, watch the ride you are about to go on! If you aren't comfortable going on after watching it, don't do it! If you feel your up to it, go for it. But make sure you are absolutely certain about it !

Would it have to be in the original packaging? Because (being the weirdo I am) I cut off the top of the box to stick on my wall. Yes, that was a stupid idea. Will they still accept this? EDIT: I got an email back. I'm going back on park tomorrow so they can look at it and offer a replacement

I was given a slightly faulty levitating train from The Ghost Train shop yesterday. One of the corners popped out of place this morning and the base is now unstable. The train is slightly tilted and very wobbly. I have not dropped it nor has anything else happened to it. It's not the end of the world! However, after spending £40 on a limited edition item, I don't appreciate it breaking within a day. I've emailed the Retail Department to ask what to do about it (refund, replacement, whatever they can do) That's my little rant for the day. Think I'll go lock myself in a dark room and watch a few horrors

Containment was looking like a boring container yesterday (no surprise there then). A permenant fence is being put up around it and the entrance sign has started to go up (the entrance sign being that white pole near the bottom left).

Nothing's really happening today. Staff were training in the shop today and fire doors are open around the building but nothing is visible. Photos aren't very interesting, but they're here anyway I don't think we have long to wait now; just a few weeks I'd say!

Will be on park today so I'll post anything that could be considered exciting/interesting Also, not sure if this has already been posted, but the adverts now say 'Coming Soon' and not 'End of May'.

There was just another DBGT advert on ITV. Still says the end of May. They might want to stop that ad from airing...

This is an absolute joke. They couldn't open it on May 6th, and now they can't open it in May.
