Rumba Rapids paintwork is already flaking and peeling off. This is what you get for using cheap paint, it looks even worse and everything will have to be redone!

If they announce a new Mack Spinning coaster, I may have to visit.

I like the new map, overall it's less depressing much better than previous years. I like how it looks a little bit like a treasure Map too with the writing and the arrows around the edges. ???️ What happened to Saw Alive??

Second to Disney is not a public Marketing phrase, it is a delusional corporate mindset. They want all their staff to think the work that they do is on the same level as Disney. It is not to be taken literally as though Merlin are going around telling the public their attractions are better than Disney. It is more about them having this mindset yet going ahead with the kind of projects you would never see Disney doing in the same way.

Old Town is still to the left out of shot. It looks like the arrows are showing where the events are.

Yep, I'm thinking the opposite corner right at the back. the entrance road already goes down there. People arrive throughout the day but everyone leaves at once when the park shuts. Have a big corner plaza with lots of barriers. Or you know, make it free and not have any barriers. That would cure the gridlock and stop them having to call the police to manage the carpark during Fright Nights!

I still think they should put the barriers at the entrance to stop the 1hr+ gridlock to get out on busy days.

If the journalist felt so strongly about their terrible experience, they wouldn't have taken Thorpe's VIP bribe package and agree to not writing an article until after they had their special treatment from the park. Now FN 2018 is long gone with the only negative articles I can see from some youths fighting in the carpark. Nothing negative about the event itself. The Mirror in fact promoted the event.

All they're going to do is cover the rest of the Charlie façade behind wooden poles. I wouldn't be surprised if the entrance is left like that. It doesn't even match the stone of the famous towers. Also the Burger Kitchen next door has had the remaining colour sucked out of it.

If you're in a stationary queue for long enough, you can find a seat. Probably why there isn't a lot of graffiti at Europa Park because their queues on the whole keep moving. Probably helps there's no priority system too. Also someone needs to buy the farting chair. ?

RotB is looking good from what I've seen on Facebook. Looks like the refurbishment is up to the same standard as the Gruffalo. Also the chicken place has had a makeover. The park definitely needs better food now there are no fast food brands.

So I guess in the second pic, they just edited in a transprent Slash or someone wearing a top hat? lol

I didn't know that Storm Surge was originally going to be built over Monks Walk. Naturally the dead objected to such a terrible ride on their burial ground and it was moved infront of X:\NWO. Thorpe just posted a map teaser on Facebook. Don't think it's finished yet but I'm a Celeb has been removed from the map.

I think it will be Vulcan Peak scare maze permanently open until they can't afford to staff it because Thorpe never learn from their mistakes.

Just pointing out that fastrack has no value on a quiet day and there are better value things to spend £400 on. Compared to the Adrenaline package for example, It only starts becoming better value if you plan to go on more than 5 coasters in a day on more than 8 busy days during the season. Add the Exhilarate and it's more than 10 rides a day on 5 busy days. Or it's more than 4 busy days with Unlimited but missing the Walking Dead the ride. It's entirely your choice on how you spend your own money at the end of the day but hopefully it's a more informed and rounded decision. Feel free to ignore everyones opinions. I'm glad Europa doesn't sell fastrack. Their queues move pretty quickly being able to fill the whole trains from the main queue.

Indeed, it would be better value to buy a Blackpool Season Pass, Europa Park season pass and/or a Disney season pass if you've got £400 to dispose of. If people want to spend £400 to queue at Thorpes Fastrack booth on busy days instead, then that's their choice I guess.

Gotta see them geek updates in person. What's been painted? Any new fences? Might even spot a new sign. Can't wait to find out.
