"Pretty much"? Between the plans and that advertising, I'd love to know how much more confirmation you'd need for it to be 100% confirmed ;)

Well it's not an exact copy, It's a smoother "second hand" track that was never constructed and different style trains from what I've heard. They'll probably maintain it better than Merlin too! 😛

Me too, although genuinely, the fake shop is literally the best part (and only part I like)!

Funny isn't it? The best part of the attraction is the most themed and interactive. I'm certain making it a "real" experience over VR would make it 1000 times better. As long as the rest of it is done as well as the fake shop.

Have always thought it just needs cutting back to the bare bones and start again but not totally write it off.

Have more time to marvel at the hanging old train. No VR but have the windows on the trains as 8k monitors with the action playing out on them plus a hidden part of the compartment for live actors for scares in the train

This is exactly what I think it should be! A real ghost train.

  4. They should cut their losses, close it and turn it into a real ghost train / scare maze. After doing a handful of VR attractions now, I'm not convinced it belongs in a theme park. I get more thrills and immersion from really well produced theming, artwork, lighting, effects, audio & animatronics. Save the money for a long overdue coaster. It may be the first time next year Paulton's start bringing some competition to Thorpe with Tornado Springs being more thrill focused from the predominantly family friendly park. Simply put, new coasters draw in the crowds and last longer than VR attractions like Galactica or DBGT:ROTD. (And they don't take up to 12pm to get them operational!)

I according to what I have seen on social media there is scaffolding around the loggers station I am now seeing hints on people now thinking it's staying because merlin has been bought out by another company I don't see that happening because they won't be able to clean that down by 2020 I am going with the original post that was put on the TP blog post on there blog page we will wait and see it's been closed 5 years so to me it's going we will wait and see on the maze line up aswell if platform  is returning one more season but we might not get it atall as there doing work around the station unless they lay out the cattle pen a different way this year so we can experience platform

The work on Loggers is only for Fright Nights.
