If/when travel is allowed, these are my plans Currently booked (free cancellations and with the flight vouchers from cancelled stuff last year) Cedar Point/Kings Island - end of May Disneyland/California Adventure/Magic Mountain/Knotts Berry Farm/Universal Studios Hollywood - end of september Efteling/Walibi Holland/Toverland - mid October To be decided Walibi Belgium/Plopsaland - possibly August time Phantasialand - most likely for Winteraum The only trip I have doubts of happening is the May Ohio outing but I am relatively confident in the rest occuring unless theres a disaster. The beautiful thing is all of these was done with flight vouchers for flights and free cancellations/pay on arrival at the hotel so thankfully no additional money is at risk of being lost.

Double post. Who cares!!?? Few weeks of testing now for Velocicoaster. Just looks better and better and better!!

I admit, on looking at the POV first I found the coaster to look a tad underwhelming. HOWEVER, the more I sat and watched the POV to properly delve into it, the more I CAN see where this could really be a top class coaster. Whereas Zadra utilises a more out and back style layout, the more twister style layout of Iron Gwazi could lend itself to some real forceful and intense transitions with its turns with that overbank turn (which is NOT an inversion Busch!!) looking to be a real forceful moment. It also looks to have some good drawn out elements after its first drop (the first outwards bank style element looks set to offer a great airtime moment and the "death roll" looks to also be one great inversion) and there also looks to be some good headchopper elements to it aswell. On first viewing, I found the last few moments after the stall to look meh but on further watching, I can see that having some decent airtime pops and some nice forces to it even though it would have been nice if it ended with the Zadra style snappy inversion before the breaks. Sometimes a POV can be deceptive (for better or worse) when it comes to a coaster. I know many people who think Taron for instance looks naff on a POV....very quick to change their mind on that once they have ridden!! Will Iron Gwazi be the Steel Vengeance killer?? - I highly doubt it. I cant see ANY coaster being that so I would find that unfair to hold against Iron Gwazi. Will it be as good as Zadra?? - I absolutely can see it being on a similar level. Whether it will be better or not will remain to be seen. Will it be a top draw elite coaster? - Given its an RMC hyper hybrid, that looks to very much be a given taken into account this company makes hit after hit. Even the worst RMC will give 95 percent of coasters a run for their money and this looks to be far from the worst RMC. On a side note, RMC actually more or less built this from ground up given the condition of the pre existing Gwazi track. So its not really a conversion as such.

The more I look at this, the more I share your dislike of the location as it really will wreck the current feel of that lake. Nonetheless, whilst I find this and Time Traveller to look very gimmicky, this certainly looks to be a good solid edition to the coaster scene on the continent and seems a good fun coaster. Its all about now if it has a NINETY FIVE FOOT TALL LOOP!!* *god that Time Traveller announcement video was something else

To think that this is the same company that gave us the abomination known as Rita!! Next year looking all set to be intamins year with this,Velocicoaster and Pantheon all scheduled to open. This very well could be the best of the lot!! Whether it tops Untamed for my top euro coaster remains to be seen should I be able to get out there, but certainly looks like it shall put up a fight. Cant wait to hopefully get to ride it!!

I am sure the fans of these vloggers are going to really appreciate it when they are all going to Europe come Janurary for "work purposes" whilst they are all stuck in this country if indeed the EU ban non essential travel from the UK. Absolute joke.

*looks over at America and see the Busch/seaworld parks has an 11 park pass with no exclusions, free parking, one free quick queue pass a day and multiple tickets for other guests cheaper than the Platinum MAP Lets see now in regards to new attractions between last year to this year now. Busch/Seaworld - Iron Gwazi,Pantheon,Texas Stingray, Ice breaker, Emperor. Merlin - Gangster Granny, Croc Drop, Black Mirror. Yeah the UK deffo got the better end of the deal lads!!

This is EXACTLY what gets on my last nerve. So many people hark on about them in a negative way endlessly...yet still pump money into them. May I ask what exactly that achieves?? Do people really think the higher ups give a hoot about a couple of complaints from people who are STILL giving them their money??. They are a business so naturally money and profit comes first. The reason I chucked my pass in was because I genuinely am tired of this company and how they have ran Thorpe virtually past the point of no return and am fed up of the absolute cash grabbing we are seeing with upcharging left right and centre, the multi pass tiers and not being able to walk 10 feet in their attractions without someone trying to shove products down your throat as if you are in the Marrakech Medina. The other reason I gave up is because the ONLY way you get change out of a company is to hit them where it hurts and that is the pocket. Yes little old Martin not renewing his pass is not going to achieve much, but if others who like myself who apparently have had enough had that train of thought as opposed to bitching and moaning about stuff whilst pouring money into their bank account, MAYBE a change of sorts could happen. Gets on my absolute nerves.
