How can any outdoor maze thats years old and a walk through some trees become better. Yet as Coaster says below, it was the most consistent maze the last 2 years. If only you knew the plans for last year.. but how Big Top seems logical to go I don't know, Platform is half built, sanctum and BW non existent, but they can build big top as they have everything for that... Maybe Coaster is right, they don't have the skilled people to build mazes and fill the roles with inexperienced people. Nail - Head. haha, VR exprience ?

So basically you are still guessing, with little to no evidence or any rumours! Can I see the copy of the Lionsgate contract you have? Could you also add some structure to your post, it's all over the place and very hard to follow. Adding paragraphs for each maze, would have been wonderful.

That itself is enough to tell me, it's highly likely that it wont return. A lot of staff like to think they know what's going on, when in fact they know nothing. I can vouch, first hand with this. Like if studio 13 did return, where would it go?! Outside? haha. As for the director stuff, it was around the last two years but never returned. Just remember, Big Top started it's build in 5 days time, this time last year.

? You can advertise more than one thing at once. If you understand marketing, you'd advertise it in the park during summer (as they have done before) when guest numbers are high after seeing paid ad's out of the park for Summer related stuff (two birds one stone..). I'll cost next to nothing to produce signage. So right now, it's just poor planning, they don't know what they are doing for FN or can't multitask. Why are all the other parks advertising Halloween stuff now during summer? Because thats when the most volume of people are visiting the park and watching their social media channels. It's a no brainer. Advertising Halloween related stuff now, wont take away the volume to summer, you just have to advertise it correctly and release the right information. EDIT: Thorpe teased the first news about WD on the 25th July 2017. So running a little behind..

Not really? Every other park has announced something and started advertising. This time last year, platform and WD had lots of talking going on. It' going to be a tricky year for FNs.

It's a shame to see this thread so quiet. Does feel like the vibe of fright nights will be a lot less exciting this year

Right.... First of all the site has no referencing to being "thorpe park owned" at all. People only assuming this, because Thorpe Park social media channels started dropping hints in posts and tweets including 0? etc. Yet they now say it's a scam and not them. Make your minds up thorpe. Jump on the band wagon, then jump off. Whats a scam? Currently it's not asked for any money or claimed to be thorpe park. Just linked two mazes from thorpe, which if you read posts here, link back to the company who own the site having worked on. Project Zer0 isnt "fake". Maybe is just has nothing to do with Thorpe Park? But hey, the only ones to blame for making people think it might be, is Thorpe Park their selfs.

Yes sure, free lockers outside the attraction for a set time (or following the queue time). Could be even more clever and use the park tickets. Very simple and sensible. works very well with many parks across the states. Leave the messing around outside the queue and station. I know this is something thorpe have recently looked into, but it costs. So it didnt happen. unless it's free, TP wont do it.

You shouldn't arrive in the brake run to then wait while they are still loading the next train. All this is down to lack of batch staff, and staff just not 'helping' guests. The complete mess of having to cross the track to store bags just adds to the slow turn around too. Shame really. But one less staff member to ensure guests know what row to stand in to ensure a full train and that their bags have to go in the shelf is overruled by profit. For the sake of £80 a day.

Being on two trains and stuck on the brake run for ages just defeats the point of two trains imo. that train should be ready to go once you leave the first brakes so it just keeps rolling in

In reality though, The Walking Dead The Ride is just a re-theme with miss-lead advertisement and Living Nightmare Extreme is what, more actors with 'new rooms'. More miss-leading advertisement? And can there be any more less guests in the park than what there is now? MoS looked dead, £5 to upgrade to MoS too? sounds like they cant sell the tickets. I am for one very lost as to why they thought having a Fright Nights exclusive maze open out of Halloween time would be a good idea. And the whole Walking dead stuff really, it'll kill the buzz for Fright Nights as everyone will have had enough of walking dead. The Tv series that is now dropping off. Investing into things that everyone would enjoy and not limiting your target group would have been the better option. I know quite a few families that have decided not to visit Thorpe because they think it's all 'Walking Dead' related. Yet it does have timber tug boat!

That or better... somehow. Nightmare needs SFX and clever use of AV more than actors. Just typing this, and I could think of many things to do at low cost... How are the light levels in the maze? last year the rooms were all very bright, including the hospital area.

Oh yes, I and everyone else knows that. But it seems the big bosses at Thorpe don't. I mean, isn't that why Saw alive and celeb are seasonal attractions because of the operating cost. What they are spending out on actors now... clearly isnt working either looking at queue times and random 10pm closes being thrown in. So taking a step back to something that is deemed 'worse' by Thorpe, because they created an extreme version, wont help their case. But it does seem a petition has started now on Merlin pass group, and if X amount of people sign it, Thorpe will keep it for FN. So, I'm very sure it'll come back as extreme but with slightly less actors than now, but more than last year.
