Why what happened with staff? Can’t have been an easy weekend for any of them tbf.

Of course they can’t control the weather but it’s curious why they now say the ride opens the 24th March but may open for periods of time during the week. If the ride is ok to open subject to weather then why not have it open the whole day, why does it now need to wait until the 24th before full service. Unless of course they see from the comments that it’s annoying customers and perform a U Turn on that.

That’s true and not forgetting Jordan is also a Thorpe Park employee, who also wouldn’t be negative about anything.

I don’t complain when Merlin add actors to attractions but it’s very misleading to include actors in PR especially when claiming this is the scariest ride in the world* (*Jordan’s claim not mine and she’s the parks official ride tester) and then have the resort inform us the attraction features no actors. 15 out of 10 on the scare scale... that claim says everything about this rebrand. * https://www.getsurrey.co.uk/news/surrey-news/thorpe-park-walking-dead-ride-14373522

Think it’s more to do with all those riding it last night and somehow feeling snubbed because they couldn’t open it this weekend

Very poor customer service to not have the revised closed time plastered all over their social media channels and website (unless it’s magically appeared now)

Not including live actors, that was a bit misleading to include them in that press article for Jordan’s new job then. Fastrack will probably be like DBGT, VIP only from start then.

They are doing a complete track replace and sleepers on Hill Train. They should really aim to get it open for summer but this is Merlin.

The lockers were there last year but never saw them working.

I did manage to use the ones at the entrance on 4th November last year but as you say it’s very hit and miss. I too have had the same “customer service” with regards to the lockers. It would be good if they had a few other £1 lockers dotted around though. I won’t use the Chessington electronic ones anymore after it offered us someone else’s full locker for use. Poor staff member said she dreads when someone mentions lockers!

The other side of removal of baggage drops is actual lockers at the park, those electronic ones they have at Towers & Chessington very rarely work. Anyone know if any lockers have been added / replaced around the park?

Didn’t they do a “TLC” on the yellow the other year?

Does that mean the stairs are now gonna be rammed or are they still going to manage the amount of people on them?
