Glad to have shared some of these experiences with you! (and to understand what you're talking about with others - Phantasialand!)
Here's to 2015!

Argh you're such a miserable git when it comes to this park or the rides. Poor Bobbhan .
Flug sounds to have changed since I rode - the addition of SRQ and Front Row Queue. When I went it was queue to the building which split into 2 lanes (left and right) where a batcher then let 10 of you in each side. The third queue was for Qbot (which wasn't operating). Simple and very very smoothly run.
The ride itself judders to hell and also something I didn't enjoy... there's nowhere which feels great... the front row feels like it's being held back constantly and the back row is just juddery judderyness. However it looks visually stunning and I did repeat ride on every seat just to try and see if there was a non-juddery side (there isn't).
Park does seem to have budgets cut but its really nicely presented. Looks busy on your day though, colossos out the entrance!!

Yup. Agreed with what you wrote.
Tbf, who needs stuff like HP when you can just have high thrill rides and stuff which you can hit people with?

What happened to your 2nd blog post?
From the sounds of it, California really isn't worth bothering going to? Does it have anything stand out to make you wish to visit instead of going to WDW?

Your favourite park turns out to me my least favourite there, for the reasons you've stated making it good!
Eurgh, Rip Ride Rockit can go eat a poo. I hated it so much.

Must be your face!
Sounds good. Now, write more and more!!!

Does magic hours not allow the entire park to be open in Paris then? That's a mega shame.
Glad to hear Buzz is decent though, went on it in Florida and thought it happened to be the worst recent attraction. Doesn't help my gun broke and gave me 999,999 in the second scene anyway.

Sounds brilliant. Damn you for not recording every single moment of your drive to grab this. Sounds rather magical!

Interesting to read this after we know they're targetting families now - has your viewpoint changed since?
I believe it'll always be for the older families, those that can enjoy the majority of attractions, however you need more rest rides - those which you can relax on, those typically which have been removed in recent years. A few of those to balance out those hardcore thrillseekers and those which aren't quite ready yet!

The picture by stealth is actually a massive bit of weeds, fighting for each others sunlight.
Apart from that, loads of trees. Surely enough space to cut them down to build rides!!

I like Heide, but it irritates me how awful the park has become after tussauds bought it - it's got three very clear phases. The original owner phase (with beautiful rapids and mine train for example), tussauds era (with awful Rita clone) then Merlin (slightly themed but cheaply done - the entire area around flug has pathways and an old play area half demolished and leading into the ride areas. Looks awful.
