Canada Creek Railway: The Bear Hunt

So... who misses this and wishes it reopens soon?

		The Smiler

It's incredibly loud - could hear it going around from the carpark today! Thank god the ropers aren't still in that house!

		Scorpion Express

I love the stairs in that picture. Feel very pointless!

		The Smiler

With 5 trains on the system it should 'easily' get 1200 apparently. 4 trains (which is what it's been running) should therefore get around 1k. Very decent amount.

		Nemesis Inferno

Is it? I imagine that's the male voice. I hope he mentions the eggs of the Nemesis creature, only then can we be sure.

		Park Operations

Would be nice, when the park is busier during offpeak times than before, to have 2 trains anyway. Start with two, reduce if the park is empty. The cost surely cannot be that much more, particularly relative to the amount of guests they've got on. They've just got a negative attitude to doing something other than they're used to, rather than for the benefit of guests. Towers ran two trains Nemesis earlier this season, even though gate figure wasn't hitting 2k and they were filling one row per train. That's how it should be if it's quiet, not half hour queue on one train.

		Vampire

Indeed. Also actually trying to achieve throughputs would be a good idea as well, who would've thought the quicker you send the train, the shorter the queue and the easier their jobs actually end up being..

		The Smiler

Ben10 paint was completely off the track within a couple of months opening. That ride isn't rough whatsoever.

Is that the flaps gone to enter the building then?

		The Smiler

It's all down to throughput - Nemesis consistently has the highest throughputs for a coaster on park. Oblivion would beat it, apart from it rarely runs properly/has enough shuttles on etc.

		The Smiler

Doubt it'll be too quiet, the parks been quite busy this week even though people knew Smiler wasn't open. Half hour queue on Nemesis has been the norm, and that's usually quietest coaster on park.

		The Smiler

It's more than that, there's a fair few issues to be solved first. Best thing on twitter:

		The Smiler

I imagine they rather not lose yet another vital holiday period, hence saying it then. But either way, morning as a ride opens is a time when you'd find it most difficult to get early riders - they'll be literally doing final touches, making sure ride works and everythings prepared. It'd actually be easier to get them on weds evening (as long as rides running) than on the run up to 10am, when no doubt merlin studios will be literally finishing things off to the tight schedule.

		Rameses Revenge

Might just be motors blowing, when they replace them one of the newer one/refurbed one is way more powerful than the rest and usually kills the other one. Happened to ripsaw, causing 5 motor blowouts (yes, one went twice) in 2010. It was down for about 4 days for each one, and I imagine chessie takes far longer to solve these issues due to budgets etc.

		John Wardley

Yup, Wardley has only done the layout for the last few coasters I believe (pnly since merlin took over, and had no input after inferno before that).

		Legoland

Probably out back somewhere now. The park is looking far far better the past couple of years, really pumped investment into making sure things are working and looking fresh. Areas have audio now, new lego models, working lego models. As for throughputs, it's really a park in two halves. Go down the right hand side (VRS, Dragon, Falls, Spider, Rocker if loaded quickly) and that's throughput central with the lowest being 600 for falls. Other side of the park barely gets 200 people an hour on most attractions. Dragon got it's third train in 2010, it's very good if run well. Just need the staffing to ensure that (lego don't enjoy spending on staffing)

Low budget? Posters are pretty damn low budget!

		Doctor Who

Really really enjoyed the last couple of episodes. Definitely gonna rewatch the one just gone sometime today. It was just brilliant.

		Nemesis Inferno

Ahh I was close enough, can still be put down to awful system as designed by the wonderful Intamin. Any ride which cannot run at it's full potential for fear of it shutting down and having lengthy evacs are rides not worth installing.

		The Smiler

Sanctuary and Smiler really aren't that connected. Though saying that, massive posters would be wonderful. Hmm.

		Nemesis Inferno

It'll be able to leave the second the ride allows it to - it'll have a dispatch interval at some inversion I imagine, allowing the ride to be sent without the train stopping at top of the lift. Colossus has an awful block brake system (it's intamin afterall) so it has to be in the brake block before next one can be sent. Glad to see it's going quickly though, inferno will definitely be the easiest ride to get throughputs out on.

		Chessington Music

I think they're slowly going through adding audio systems around the park, like Lego did last year/two years ago. Realising quiet parks = no atmosphere. It's fantastic. They were painting F&C when I visited (hope they'll change the sign, but I doubt it.. Nemesis News lives on). Glad the park is improving mostly. Rockwork needs to hurry up though.

		The Smiler

Extentions build up to a 4.5hrs queue. Let's hope they dont use them.

		The Smiler

Wish there was! The music is the music found on the game, and the advert for the game. I bloody love the menu track so hope that plays the most at some point, presumably the station.
