Ah ok, so the day I went, I can blame Mondial, Gerstlauer, Vekoma, Mack, Intamin (X3), S&S and whoever the hell built the Canada creek Railway. That's a lot of manufacturer hate right there.
And then there's walking from Colossus to Inferno and only having Rocky Express open.I'm sorry, how anyone can forgive nine rides closed at once on the first full open day of the season is beyond me. It's not turning my back, it's voting with my feet.
Bubbleworks was down as I believe they were rebuilding the lift and drop. It's had nothing as extensive this year. All rides were open at the weekend and Rattlesnake, Bubbleworks and Skyway have been running all this week so don't worry about them not being open
Of course the ultimate way of having a cheap day at Thorpe Park is to not bother going, instead watch the on-ride videos on youtube. That way you get the experience of the rides without the fuss!
You know, I'm beginning to fully agree with you. A few people have been saying Inferno is crap because it never gets queues compared to Colossus and Stealth. That's fine with me, you can go queue 20 minutes for a headbanger/over-rated ride, whilst I'll queue 5 minutes for Inferno and get to go round 2/3 times.I used to like Stealth.. then I realised its over-rated.
