Posted August 7, 200619 yr comment_113 Very good ride from thorpe but not sure as you also have vortex which can be seen as the same rides just one is bigger. I know they are very different but to the average person looking on they may see rush or vortex as a bit pontless, oh well just less queing for me!!
August 7, 200619 yr comment_157 I really like Rush but I went when it first opened and only one side was working and then I went in June 2006 and none of it was working. Has it just been really bad luck or if not why is it always breaking down?.

August 7, 200619 yr comment_169 I like Rush, shame its really short but love the air-time. I think iv'e only seen Rush on two swing like twice this year though

Might ask a member of staff tommorow why it's always running on one swing. Soubt I'll get an honest answer though
August 8, 200619 yr Author comment_197 I hate when theme parks do this, I really think a ride should only be open if it can take full capacity, and if the ride really really cant then open it towards the end of the day (about three) to make sure people can get on it otherwise you spend ages in a very annoying q line!
August 8, 200619 yr comment_198 The thing is, when it runs 2 swings it some times allways breaks down and would be better off using just one.
August 8, 200619 yr comment_200 I would rather it on one swing becasue on rush you can get a good or bad ride. On one swing the ride lasts no more than one minuit, on two swings it could last up to three. I know this makes the queue longer, but at least you are queuing for something worth queueing for.
August 10, 200619 yr comment_369 I think rush is only good when both swings are working, I love it when you are queueing up for it and the wind and the noise realy kick in the adrenaline!
August 10, 200619 yr comment_383 The thing is, when it runs 2 swings it some times allways breaks down and would be better off using just one. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Every time I've gone it seems to be breaking down one swing anyway
August 12, 200619 yr comment_440 This ride is nothing less than terrifying and amazingly fantastic. I love this ride for all the reasons that you could love a ride for.
August 16, 200619 yr comment_698 I asked an attendant about rush last year.. he said that every time they tested it on 2 swings it broke itself and they weren't sure what was wrong (usual vague answer!). I can't believe the bad luck TP is having with new rides (I've not yet been on rush with 2 swings, nor have I been on stealth!)
August 16, 200619 yr comment_724 sky hawk never has this problem it has been open about three months now and there has not been a single time when it is down to two swings and must I say it is a great ride.
August 17, 200619 yr comment_731 I Love rush its my favorite along with nemesis inferno. You get a great feeling of adrenaline! 10/10

For example, Top Thrill Dragster was the first of its kind and that kept breaking down, now Kingda Ka (made by the same people) does'nt break down as much because they have learnt from their mistakes (but they did'nt take those mistakes on board when they built Stealth)!
September 2, 200619 yr comment_1275 Rush is not the first of it's kind, the first one opened at Knott's Berry Farm as a prototype. Xcelerator was the first Hydraulic Launch Rollercoaster to be made by Intamin AG, not Top Thrill Dragster. All rides are never 100% perfect, remember the people who build them are only human, and cannot guarantee they will work every day. It was just unfortunate that Stealth, had to suffer lots of downtime.
September 2, 200619 yr comment_1300 Yes you are right about Xcelerator being the first hydraulic launch but Rush is kind of a worlds first as it has a different style seating arrangement.
September 3, 200619 yr comment_1313 Yes Rush was the first S&S Screaming Swing to have large capacity, but the Screamin' Swing at Knott's Berry Farm was and is still the first of its kind to be created.

September 5, 200619 yr comment_1443 Not higher, maybe for longer but not sure as the tanks may run out of air.
September 12, 200618 yr comment_1557 Rush was brilliant when I last visited with my Dad. My Dad went on it for the first time and loved it , it was on a great setting and was on two swings.
January 3, 200718 yr comment_3115 I've never been on Rush also (OMG I'm such a bad fanboy).I must admit, I don't really like the look of it.
