One week and three days after the meet, I have finally dug out the bit of spoon that was embedded in my thumb...

I kid you not. Been trying to get it out that whole time (and on some days left it as my thumb was getting sore!) - I knew there was something there as it felt like a splinter or something, and could see something white! Remnant of said spoon is (clearly) at the top. The small hole on the left is from that, the one on the right is from peeling skin off in order to be able to dig it out :o

It's fine, I'll survive ;) I'm just glad I didn't risk putting it in my mouth!
