  1. This really is getting there now isn’t it. Still can’t quite believe Thorpe are getting a new coaster tbh Really looking forward to seeing how massive this is “in real life”. I did my usual peek at Stealth on the M3-M25 junction yesterday and it occurred to me just how visible the new one would be from there, let alone from inside the park. Going back to the name trademark business - that was a great find @coasterverse! Hyperia is an odd one, but with names I always think it’s difficult at first. I remember the smiler was questioned a lot, but it’s the perfect name for it isn’t it- it just is the smiler. If it does turn out to be the name, it will settle in and become as fitting as any other.

  3. Ding dong, your opinion is wrong. But seriously, a couple of points: -I've had chats with Parma Violet and have removed some complete nonsensical rubbish they've posted. -Parm Prat's posts are every once in a while, and not constant/every other post -Parmesan Pamela posts at this point are a running joke post. In the past, we've had "Topspin", "4.5/10", "If I wanted to look at trees, I'd go to a garden centre". More recently we've had "Jart" and "Tidal Wave's fire" -More importantly, I think the sense of relief we'll get once Exodus opens and Parma Ham's posts become less frequent and annoying will be much more satisfying than us banning Ramp App (and them inevitably coming back as Parm Pap 2: Electric Boogaloo). It's a bit annoying, yes. Personally I find it significantly less annoying than the people on Twitter who are "in the know" and post future stuff as "#spectulation" and going 'it's just my opinion,👀 #Newfor2024'.

  4. Was saying to someone the other day - it would be quite hilarious if looking back once confirmed and built, that all of Parm Pap's posts actually suddenly made some sort of sense.

  5. I would sell my soul for Exodus to open tomorrow just so we never have to listen to this nonsense ever again.

  8. A company with the same IPO representative as Merlin Entertainments has been found to have filed for these trademarks. Although the trademark applications didn't come from Merlin Entertainments themselves, it's not uncommon for Merlin to use shell businesses to effectively hide the trademark applications from unwanted eyes. We can (allegedly, if proven to be true) see that Merlin originally filed for the name 'Icarus', but the application was opposed. The current trademark application is for the name 'Hyperia', which is currently being examined - but providing whoever looks into trademark applications don't have any objections (like they clearly did with the Icarus name), I think it's pretty likely we could be seeing the name of Project Exodus right here. If this is the case and Hyperia is the name for the new coaster... I absolutely hate it. It's not even just because I've gotten so used to the name Exodus that I don't like it, because I really like the sound of Icarus as a coaster name. It just sounds like they went "Okay, we're building a hyper coaster and we need a name for it - but it needs to sound like a mythological creature. How about Hyperia?" Feels like it's been shoehorned into the name to emphasise that it's a hyper coaster. I really, really dislike it... (and that's me biting my tongue!)
