  1. As has been said the wait times are minimal thanks to the design of the attraction anyway... If you put into perspective these is only 250? of these passes, its not going to make a blind bit of difference at all and makes the VIP holders who have paid alot of money for their passes feel more valued.
  2. Of course that depends on the queue board instantly being changed when the ride opens... which we all know isnt always the case.
  3. A full rumba queue holds little more than 25/30 mins, so unless its stretching back to Stealth I think its safe to assume thats not quite right!
  4. As long as they dont end up trying to open major coasters late its no huge deal to me. I expect all the rides opening late got little / no riders before 11 anyway.
  5. Yes and no.. Stealth is designed to roll back and isnt an issue in its self, Smiler stalling will be a much bigger deal as the train needs to be craned off the tracks. But as Pluk said - the stall wasnt really the main issue here.
  6. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/alton-towers-hit-more-problems-5847745 Unfortunately not quite!
  7. I imagine they will be more concerned about how 2 trains ended up within the same block section rather than what caused the initial stall.
  8. They dont. You see the people walking around the park with a tablet updating the queue times and they are generally pretty accurate. Depends how you look at it - I was in PA a couple of weeks ago and the longest queue was no more then 40 minutes but the unlimited fastrack was well worth the £60 or what ever it cost.
  9. Thorpe will have a much better idea of gurst feedback than we do. Everyone who uses the system are invited to do a questionnaire so maybe the feedback there is good? The way they are implementing it is just like queue bot with a free version and you can pay for quicker access - I'm sure Blackpool do similar.

    Slammer

I think there pretty different to be fair, from what I remember slammer had many significant design changes.
  11. To be fair I'm sure the majority of businesses in the world would rather shift the blame away from them selves publicly in them sort of situations.
  12. Can only be a good thing - despite what people think Tp do care about the presentation of the park and they won't just have random bits of grey track.
  13. I thought that 2011 was their best year attendance wise, followed by 2010 and then 2009 The answer to this is we clearly need more Storm Surges!
  14. Looks like Clegg and Milliband have already found new employment
  15. Yes musics playing and very loud!
  16. Stop giving them your money and visiting if you hate them. Its pretty simple
  17. Looks like you fixed it - was it just one particular picture doing it?
  18. think the comment about Wing coasters was made more recently than that. If thats what has been said by Nick Varney can only assume that the visitor feedback from the Wing coasters isnt overly positive.
  19. Sorry but I have to disagree with you there.. Even if as enthusiasts we enjoy these rides, Nick Varney will know everything from visitor numbers to guest feedback on these rides and is in a much better position to make comments on a rides success than us.
  20. No it isnt - Gardaland and Heide Park are Merlin - Not sure if I missed any!
  21. Indeed, I'm fairly sure this will be the replacement for Summer Nights. As Benin said - there was only so long they would continue running the park near empty for hours into the night during summer!
  22. The vamps didn't perform on park when they last visited.
  23. Fastrack is not on sale yet for IAC. The sign had even been taken down last week.
