  1. I have felt your pain. It's the worst thing ever!!Drink loads of water, don't drink juice or fizzy drinks or alcohol cos it makes it worse! However cranberry juice is very good, lots of antioxidants etc. Drink that and lots of water, it'll help

    Jobs..

I HAVE A JOB!!! :DEven better, it's a job I want to do! It's at a cattery, just cleaning out the chalets the cats stay in etc. The people there are really nice and most of them are older than me, which is good cos I get on better with older people, they tend not to judge and bitch as much, so I don't have to worry about being quiet or odd :)It's Saturdays at the moment then weekdays also when it's busy in the summer, then back to Saturdays, possibly Sundays too. Which works perfectly for me, seeing as I've got a place at Plumpton College and start in September! :DAbout bloody time that I had some luck! Woooo!
  4. Crap defending, a real shame :DBut like others have said, I'm still proud to be British and proud to live in England, no matter what! And as my brother (major cricket fan) pointed out, we've got a brilliant cricket team yet no one cares about that, or even knows! But cricket is such a British sport! Even though I never cared about it when I was younger, I have memories of the summer, it being on TV, the sound of them hitting the ball, etc etc. It's a shame they don't show it on terrestrial TV anymore, apart from Channel 5 showing highlights. The actual live matches are only available on Sky Sports :DSame goes for Wimbledon, in terms of it being British and it should be appreciated more. That match the other day that went on for 10 hours, then carried on the next day...!!Screw football tbh, it's all about tennis and cricket! :)But I will admit, that was a bloody intense match...until it went downhill!
  5. I'm never taking Nurofen Cold & Flu for a headache again! They basically made me feel really odd and horrible, like I had no emotion or was depressed And we were seeing family round my uncle and aunt's house, so yeah, not the best time to feel like that. I know nothing is perfect but it wasn't a case of it didn't go to plan, I really could not enjoy myself, I usually have such a laugh with family but I just couldn't find anything funny. I normally take normal Nurofen but we've somehow managed to misplace them

Really? Ok :DIt's just in American TV/films they all call it the prom.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prom
  8. I agree with what others have said, and just to add...Don't eat out at Nandos afterward :DOr anywhere for that matter. The only problem is when the rest of the group want to and you don't want to be a pooper and go home early, so you give in and spend money on food unnecessarily! Yup, I've done that too many times! :DGo home and eat. And don't be tempted by those expensive vending machines and shops at the station either!

    Jobs..

WHSmith said no. Grr. But my Waitrose has vacancies now, yay! Applied for checkout dude earlier I think supermarkets are my only hope at the moment, all the other shops I applied for went on about having recent retail and sales experience, whereas a checkout assistant just needs customer service experience (and if they have none it still won't matter) and to be able to look smart and smile. Seeing as my latest work experience is all theme parks...yeah, I've not left myself with much of a job path! Unless I wanted to continue in that industry. And I do not! It's all about animals But seeing as no catteries have any jobs going, I've had to consider shops etc..
  12. They have a written exam for Drama now?! When I did my GCSE (2006) we had our performance and the coursework, the performance counted for 40% of the grade, the coursework was 60%.And yeah, I hated noise in exams, such as people coughing like sealions and then sniffing up all the phlegm down into their throat. Ugh!

    Jobs..

^ Yay!My voluntary work for Cats Protection will no doubt impress Plumpton College, especially as I'm applying for the National Diploma in Animal Management! :PI had a massive, positive "I can do this" spur of applying for jobs a few weeks ago...all of them said no, apart from WHSmith, had a group interview on Sunday, I think it went pretty well, and even so, at least I got through to an interview. With the way the country is these days, that's a bloody miracle! Even my mum has been turned down from jobs which she has a lifetime of experience in (airport jobs etc)! So getting through to an interview is good enough for me, but obviously if it's a yes... :(Gonna ask at Tesco as well...hopefully now its summer some stuff will come up. If I don't get a job soon I will be screwed, my benefit will stop once I go back to college so I'll have no money to pay rent, bills etc! So bad news for mum more than for me. Of course, the jobcentre don't care that I'll be left with no money to live. Ugh, the guy I spoke to earlier...the tone of his voice...he didn't give a sh*t. I mean I know it's the "rules" or whatever but he could have been polite!Of course, if I was a lone parent, oh no I'd still be able to get money. But because I'm a sensible young person who hasn't got themselves pregnant, and is returning to college to hopefully start their future career, no I get penalised!Rant over, and fingers crossed I get a job eh!
  14. I was only joking :PAs for the skinny girls thing, being able to see ribs isn't normal!! That's underweight and ugly. Being curvy is not ugly.

We have just had the best news ever! We've been waiting for it for ages and then it kept getting delayed. So not only have we finally had the news, the news is better than we expected!!!!!! :(We thought it wouldn't happen until November, or August, but that was being optimistic. But it's happening today! Or to be precise, it finished today!I know this won't make any sense to anyone and I wish I could tell you all what exactly has been going on, but it's not something you'd talk about publicly, family business, etc etc.But it's been crappy times since February and now it's all over! :DLet the good times roll!
  18. As a female, and if I was in an area that had gang problems, I would feel much safer in a group!!
  19. What?! That's ridiculous!I'm assuming it's only at night, cos what about school/college kids? And how are they going to keep an eye on everyone exactly? Unless they have police everywhere! When they could be doing something far more useful, like actually targeting real criminals, rather than making everyone suffer?
  20. Ryan - sorry, please don't take offense from my last post!I don't have a clue about the other countries in the World Cup or that the game earlier was a big game, guess I should've thought about that before posting!Benin - nope, they are definitely English! But even if they were supporting someone, there's still the fact that they make noise until about 1-2am every night, slamming doors and shouting and swearing and generally not giving a toss about anyone else and they fact that we're trying to sleep. And a friend of their kept coughing up flem and spitting it out onto the driveway earlier...and seeing as we share a driveway...ugh.
  21. Grr at selfish noisy neighbours. They had their back door wide open, being all noisy, by the sounds of it they're watching the World Cup. So those things considered, everyone can hear them, and it really scared Tango! Infact since they moved in he's been nervous, cos they're so noisy, shouting and slamming every door possible. So he's not eaten much and he's following me everywhere, poor cat :unsure:And anyway, England aren't even playing today, why do people get soooo worked up over a match that doesn't even involve teams they really care about?! Losers tbh :DI am so glad we're moving in a few weeks!
  22. ^^ Yeah it is!You can get high rides and cheap thrills on a KMG Booster at a traveller fun fair! :unsure:All this talk of European parks is making me want to back in time to Year 8 and re-live going to Phantasialand Or have the money to go to European parks, either way...

I went to Phantasialand in Year 8, but the next lot of year 8s went to Disneyland Paris!! Baring in mind this was 2003 (I think it now has better coasters now), mind you it was still great fun! The runaway train...now THAT is a runaway train! Although it was bloody hard trying to work out how to get around, I only knew a little bit of German and the map seemed confusing, and it was BUSY and Germans all stink of BO . We got back on the coach and some friends were going on about Fear and Force, we were like WHERE WAS THAT?! Lol :unsure:My brother went to Europa Park when he was in Year 8 (2000) so again, it didn't seem like much, but now it'll probably be much better!
  25. Meh I wanted to make my point, not my fault the topic had changed by the time I had a chance to post :DWhich seems to have happened again, but I have other things to do apart from watch the forums all day (And I do mean that)Aaaaaaaanyway, as for the Big Dipper...bit worrying, but like other people, I can't help just thinking "Oh well it's Blackpool!" Sorry if this is a stupid question buuut who's Amanda?
