    Britain's got talent

I know! That has really shocked me and pi$ed me off! No doubt he'll get noticed and get his own show or something hopefully but still, it's like it's a fix or something. And I bet that Kieran boy got votes out of sympathy, or just cos he's a kid. Like that Holly Steele last year who they reckon cried to get attention/sympathy votes. He makes drumming look ten times harder than it probably is, as someone said on here he puts the expression on his face etc. I know it probably is hard but I don't like his personality either, too over confident and his parents look a right lot don't they! I hate to judge but sometimes you can just look at people or see them on these shows and tell right away what they're like!I just hope that the votes were extremely close, otherwise I don't know what this country was thinking!
  3. cCould you just go with a group of friends? I didn't go with a boy, there was one I had a crush on but he didn't like me and was going with another girl as friends, so I just went with my friends and still had a good time Everyone makes a big thing about getting a "prom date", but if anything, it just causes stress and unecessary pressure. It reminds me of Valentines Day. You can buy your loved one gifts any time, but there's so much pressure to do so on Valentine's Day, just to make money. A person could get a date anytime of the year, but as soon it's time for the prom, everyone feels like they have to have a date! Which is only for the night? What's the point? Not unless you generally liked each other or were going out of course!I say screw what everyone does and thinks, go with your friends and have a laugh!

    Britain's got talent

My favourites are Paul Burling, Janey, Spelbound, Twist & Pulse and Tina & Chandi.I agree about Spelbound being the biggest rivals. But I love Tina & Chandi Twist & Pulse are funny but then again we had Diversity last year, they're not the same but it would make a nice change not to have dancers winning. Janey is sweet and I'm sure The Royal Family would love her but, without sounding harsh, even though singing is a talent they could go on X Factor to sing, as you said.Well it's about to start so we'll just have to wait and see!
  5. Maybe the weed thing is a one off (though they were drinking a lot of beer and smoking lots of cigarettes), guess we'll just have to wait and see. But I do wonder why they moved at night, when it's dark, and if it's because they have a lot of drugs and obviously didn't want people seeing!I feel bad cos it's only their first day, and one of the guys earlier smiled at me and mum and said hello, and he looked like a decent person (but then you can't judge a book by its cover!). I don't want to be too quick to judge. But from what I've heard from them so far, they don't sound the most considerate of people!
  6. UGGH! We have new neighbours and they are AWFUL!! I hate to stereotype but they're typical council estate people! Well actually it could be worse - they do work and they don't scrounge off benefits and there's three friends, it's not a family that constantly pops out kids ;)But...they're loud. I don't just mean they have loud voices, even though that can be annoying if I'm not in a good mood, that's not a major thing to moan about. But these people, I mean they go too far. And they're swearing constantly, saying vile things that most people wouldn't say out loud because they'd respect the neighbours (such as, "girls like it up the a**"). And I definitely could smell weed. Whether it was them or the people over the back, I don't know, but considering over the back is a guest house...I dunno, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was the neighbours. And one of them was talking pretty slow and weird so yah. At one point when they said the F word, one of the blokes went "Yes we're allowed to say that now!" and later on he said, in a moody voice, "If anyone moans about us being loud, they can f**k off!" How lovely. And they were saying how they couldn't believe they got to rent the house, and they're scared of the landlady. I may be wrong, but it seems to me like they've probably caused trouble before to the neighbours with their language etc, which could obviously put people off, especially as round here is a decent area, they probably thought the agents wouldn't want to let them live here! And they have a dog (labrador), but the old neighbours wanted a cat but weren't allowed. Assuming the landlady is the same, this shouldn't be allowed. Landlords/ladies often don't allow pets no matter what, and it's unlikely they'd change their minds. But they haven't met her yet? It could be that they really got the estate agents to convince her...but again, I don't trust them. Wouldn't surprise me if they're sneaking the dog in.Oh and did I mention they moved in last night? At like midnight? The noise went on til about 4am! Me and mum were NOT happy, we phoned the estate agent to check it had been let and people weren't squatting (cos seriously, who moves house at night?!) but they obviously said no, it has been let, but they also said to phone if they make any more noise late at night. Well we'll just have to wait and see, but the stuff I heard (and smelt) today is pretty unacceptable as it is! We are going to be moving again soon but houses are really thin on the ground atm, goodness knows how long we'll be stuck next to this scum!

    The News

I can't believe the shootings in Cumbria, it's tragic It's so scary and upsetting just to watch it on the news...I can't imagine what the people in the village must be going through. And the poor families/friends of those lost

    Dreams

Bump!I had loads of weird dreams recently...can't remember them all now! But one involved lots of my teeth falling out, rotting away, and I stood there in the mirror, staring in horror! Probably because I've been thinking about them recently, as I'm going to the dentist for the first time since 2006, next Wednesday! And also one of those really fun, random and just totally wacky dreams that are awesome! I was with my dad and brother at Thorpe...except it had loads more coasters etc, which were amazing! And Tidal Wave was some wacky, twisty turny water ride, quite violent and bumpy! But the best/most bizarre thing was Colossus. Instead of each car having 2 rows of 2 seats facing forward, as normal...there was two facing forward, two facing each other, so sideways...and then two backward (opposite the forward ones)! But the backward ones weren't allowed to be used, but they had been, and everyone was watching expecting people to fall out ;)Oh and then there was Dragon's Fury, except it was in a cave and the track was tiny (like a few inches wide!) and it was dodgy

    Television

Paul Burling the brilliant comedy impressionist is through to the BGT final! Yes!
  11. Sorry, but like Paul, I have to disagree on this. No they can't be blamed for everything, everyone has to put effort in, but the admin/trip organiser should have some authority, you can't expect someone else to just take charge. I wasn't at the meet but at previous meets where it has taken a while to get people to listen/get ready for the photo, I've really felt like taking charge but there's no way I would, no one would listen because I don't have any authority etc.I'm not trying to be harsh, just echoing what the majority of people on here have been saying, as I agree with them. Now let's focus on the next meetups and make sure they're some of the best
  12. I agree, that was a brilliant meetup! "Big Brother appreciates the bauble."

  17. Once again, I agree. Great post Ian!Not sure about that last line though :)EDIT: Just read AdamY's post and I agree with that too! Not everyone likes all of the rides, and not everyone likes water rides...I was thinking of maybe doing a poll next time so we know who is happy to go on what. But as you said, queuetimes are unpredictable so this may not work...and then of course, there's the inevitable - ride breakdowns.
  18. I agree. In fact you know what this places needs? A WOMAN! :PAs the superior gender we will make sure everything is organised and doesn't go wrong!
  19. Oh dear :PViolence? :PI can't help but think "I'm glad I stayed at home"
  20. I know I wasn't there, but I can imagine how that must've felt. When I attend meets, I admit I can be quiet and there are people I've hardly spoken to, but it's not intentional, I'm just a bit shy. And when the group splits up and people start walking off, I always ask "What about the others?" or check that they know where we're all going to etc. But yeah, some people do tend to be a bit "They're too slow, don't worry about them",or just forget about them, and it's out of order tbh.Like I said, I know I wasn't there today but I wanted to give my opinion on it.I hope what I'm about to say doesn't sound rude or cheeky...but that was the nice thing about SouthParks.org. Ok I only went to a few meets, but it felt more "together" and everyone kind of knew everyone, it was nice and welcoming.Don't take it the wrong way, I am not implying the TPM meets aren't friendly at all, or that they're not nice/enjoyable, and I'm not saying the members aren't friendly at all. I'm just comparing it and I just think it's a shame that people on here feel there's no points to the meets
  21. Guys I'm sorry I'm not at the meet It's both money and family stuff (mainly family stuff though). I'm sure you all would have cheered me up, and Marc, I'm sure Rush would have been happy to see me :PBut it's one of those times where my family need each other, especially me and my mum atm, seeing as, on top of everything else, her mum has gone into hospital Plus we've been awaiting some very important news/decision about a family member, since Februaury, which was supposed to happen on the 25th May...but now it's not until this Thursday! So originally I thought "Even if the news isn't the best, it'll be a huge relief and I can 'celebrate' by going to the meet!" But yeah, that all screwed up meeeh. We've never felt so sick and nervous about anything before, and to then be told it didn't happen...argh!And then last night we had more bad news...so as you can see, s**t times!Anyway, I hope you all have a brilliant time!
  22. It's bad enough having someone say something bad/nasty/not what you wanna hear...it's another thing when it makes no sense!Without going into detail as it's personal/family stuff...somethings been going on with my brother over the past few months so we've been in contact with his flat mates. We've only phoned them twice (once ages ago when it first started, once recently for important news), my mum text one of them the other day and they replied, it seemed fine. And occassionally my mum has Facebook messaged them with updates...which they seemed grateful for. But it's been very occassional as I said.My dad just text my mum saying the flat mates mum has just phoned him, saying they are very stressed with my mum calling them all the time. WHAT THE HELL?! We've only contacted them as necessary, it's not like we keep hassling them. And they're supposed to be his friends! And as a family we're going through enough without them being two-faced and giving us crap. Apparently we've been calling them everyday...no we haven't!And they want to take him off the tenancy in July when it gets renewed...great. Really supportive. Not that he wants to go back there but it's still harsh! And they at first said they could pay his share of the rent (and they CAN afford to) and now they're demanding my dad to pay back my brother's share of it...but miraculously, from July, they can afford it!Even though they weren't his best/favourite friends, it's bang out of order. I can't believe someone could do that. Maybe they don't want to be involved with him after everything thats been going on, it happens. But we really didn't expect it. But the worst thing is the lies! We have NOT been calling them everyday, my mum is one of the most considerate people I know, she wouldn't ever hassle anyone like that. How are we supposed to tell him two of his friends have deserted him?
