  1. I'm heading up there sunday, so hopefully all rides should be fully functional, apart from the Skyride.
  2. I went in 2006, the year Black Mamba opened, and the themeing and the rides blew me away. Definatley better than anything we have here.
  3. Vampire is'nt as smooth as Nemesis Inferno, but dont forget Vampire is an Arrow/Vekoma and NI is a B&M, plus age is a factor. Vampire was early 90's and NI was 2004?
  4. It was, and still is one of the smoothest coasters I have been on.
  5. I can't remember how much they swung, and I know at times they could be murder to get in and out of, but the old trains made the ride. It's still a good ride, but now it could be any family suspended coaster.
  6. I would rather get wet myself. I don't see the point of people going on rides like Tidal Wave wearing these things. Why go on it if you don't want to get wet?Sorry if this offends anyone here, just my personal opinion.
  7. Yep, I did. I really miss the old trains though.
  8. I'm glad the SRQ is coming back, because I thought it did work when they had it before.Just wish Nemesis Inferno would get one back.
  9. I went on it 5 times on saturday, good old SRQ.
  10. Hmmm, is that a hint for the next new ride, a huge water tube ride going round the park?
  11. That was indeed me. I'm a member of a coaster club, and we had a special trip up there.Rode it about 6 times, great coaster and a damn site smoother than Saw, even though it's a different company.Anyway, sorry guys, back on topic
  12. One of the more "cheerfull" rides at the park. Probably my favorite powered coaster in the UK.I think I know the guy you mean Calum, he must have been the guy on the platform last time I went, because we were high fiving aswell
  13. I have had a fly in my eye on the launch on Stealth. My eyes were watering the whole way round. The girl next to me thought I was crying,
  14. I had to mention that damn ride, did'nt I
  15. It's a close call between Lost City theme and the Entrance music. To save double posting, I think the end of the day music's first bit makes me think I have achieved something and survived the thrill rides at the park. Ok, no-one likes going home at the end of a great day at a Theme Park, but you must know what I mean. It just seems that kind of music to me.
  16. Queue times were roughly 75-80 minutes for Saw peak time. I went straight there from the entrance, but they were still testing it until 10am, though the ride was advertised on the board to open at 9.30, when the park opened. Gave up at first so went on Colossus which only took a few minutes, then queued for Saw, roughly 30 minutes tops Did'nt notice Stealth, as I usually use the SRQ.
  17. Yep, thanks Marc. This is probably my second favorite track at the park now.
  18. Just got back from a rather good day at Thorpe Park. The park was busy, but not overly busy.Ride countColossus-2Saw-2Nemesis Inferno-2Stealth 5Rapids-1Logger's Leap-1Samurai-1Rush-1Vortex-1
  19. Does anyone have the end of the day music they play in the dome?
  20. Abroard- Eurosat at Europa ParkUK- Hex at Alton Towers.Anyone going for "It's a small world????"
  21. I'm going sunday, so It had better be open. A day at Thorpe is'nt complete without a few goes on Stealth.
