This new thing runs really slowly. Takes a month to scroll down a page! Looks alright, but I prefer the old one if you want an honest opinion.

They have normaly got 2/3 cars worth in the gates, so the SRQ will never actually slow the queue down when there just added behind that? It only slows things down if your called the the cars directly. Plus the cars will get around the track a hell of a lot faster full. I'm talking seconds, but it adds up. The merge point is the biggest slower of the queue, not SRQ. If they let it free flow untill fastracks turn up, it might actually move. That way not 50 fastrackers are cutting infront of you, but spread along the queue of people evenly. SRQ also allows me to get around 10 times in an hour. Upping my ride count for the day. Impoving my enjoyment of the day, even though Saw cracks my neck, blurs my vision, rapes my brain everytime I do it.

Complete piss take. I'm only 13 rides away from 100 on it... and I need to break that THIS season.
-
30 mins is not quiet.... Nothing - 5 min waits are "quiet". I'm sorry but its just no accurate enough... and PAPER. Atleast get a sign printed!! How tacky does it get!Edit: Is it just me, or does in the above picture look like there is a tree in the shape of NI's train on the track? lol.
-
They also use RCT3's breakdown sound on Rush, Saw and X\: ironically.
-
Rush is better than Skyhawk. Done both. Swing B (the high swing) on SH wobbles from side-to-side at peak hight. Its wierd and kills off the air you get. Let alone it only does 7 swings in a cycle... Swing A doesn't wobble but obviously it doesn't get it up as much...

Well today was fairly good. Yeah, nothing amazing or bad happened. The atmosphere was good actually. Only one random note that the powerline speaker over TW fastrack is missing the fuzzy speaker in it. I assume its being replaced. I saw the ECC standing there but tbh I had enough Saw rides already that day lol. Most staff going on about last nights Social. Saw - 13Inferno - 7 (1F)Stealth - 5 (1F)Colossus - 1Rush - 6Fish - 1X - 1Samurai - 1Det - 237 rides. Not bad for a 9.20am - 6pm day! Had KFC and Medical Center visit aswell. Rush lost something in my eye. It was sharp and it hurt. Got my eye washed out. All good now

Tbh, its perfect for the park. One thing they lack is water rides. They currently only have 2. With the summer heat aswell, its perfect. Its also nice to see them re-live an old classic rides name they had in the past.
-
Your Joking. I left at 2.30pm (went to Thorpe) as it had scaffolding on it!!Vamps really seemed to affect the park. It was hell busy.
-
I also was joking!!
-
Well they better have the lift chain fixed and it working tomorrow because I'm going tomorrow. If thats the issue it ain't a major one. Should be fixed in hours. Oh wait. This is the UK, things don't work that fast.... not like CP's workers who got a cable change on TTD done over night!
-
Were they using fog/smoke or water based like normal?I remember once before using fog and it was brilliant. I hope it lasts, as I like Inferno as...well an inferno!!

I'm editing a 30min WWTP (Tidal Side) loop for my bedroom Amity Cove. I've been trying to make do with the samples posted a while ago, but they are hard to work with. So basically, I was wondering if anybody has full radio broadcasts. Thanks if possible!

Yes all the effects are working. Even "Congrats you survived" at the end works again. Perfect timing hehe.
-
Yeah. 40 - 50 on most, 60 on Saw at peak. Park was really busy too. But everything worked perfectly. SRQ's never went beyond 5 - 10 mins.Thorpe is rather predictable, so obviously we plan and time everything we do. Seems to work most visits...
-
Yesterday queue times stuck to around 40, 50 mins for normal queues. Saw being an exception of 60 mins.

Hmmmm, where do I start. - Operations were spot on. - No breakdowns other than Saw once. - Saw now got its SRQ back!We always start with Inferno, Det, Stealth so I dont really need to say any more.Yes the BO thing isn't actually in force you know!I'll just do highlights now so you all dont get bored...The highlights start with me gaining a SRQ Stealth front row. Then after rides and a wander, we saw Holly, and she would be on Slammer upto 2pm. So thats the direction we would go in after seeing Jonny on Quantum. Erm...Jonny Rocket After, we got to Slapps, and went onto the front row of it at our choice. The cycle started and I thought; Hold on? I recognize them on the other side. Yeah, a few friends from school, lol! What are the chances of that! They shat bricks while we were arms up.Met up with them for a few mins after, and they wanted to do Samurai, so while waiting for that we did 2 on Saw and caught them on their ride! After we split off as we wanted to do a visit to the soak zone. It was very hot. We caught them AGAIN under Inferno!Hmmm can't remember order, but I know it involves whoring Stealth (and getting another SRQ front row to spite my mother) and Saw. The SRQs were moving fast. We also got a shot of Ali doing his thing.AliWe had got around everything we wanted. Now just to do Colossus on front row, of which while waiting my mum got a text from Ewan saying if we were at the park or not. We planned to meet up for the last hour for Saw riding. Dropping off the top of Colly, we noticed Saws gates were shut!! oh ****! Dont worry it re-opened very quickly. The Last hour - The interesting partWhile waiting for Ewan to get to the park, we did Inferno twise. Only to realize my mum had run out of credit on her phone! ****, so now we couldnt tell him where we were. All we knew is he would be doing Rush & Stealth on the way in.We waited outside Rush, of which we found out he had alreadly been here from staff! So we RAN to Stealth. Looked around. Nope. (Had a quick ride) We RAN back to Rush to see if he was looking for us. We saw Chris and had a quick talk. Then Ewan phoned to find out where we were. He just got off Inferno! So we finally met at Stealth. Queue was about 25 mins, so we thought, **** that shoot up the FT and skip it. Ewan had a friend with him. First timmer on Stealth. She shat herself!! Seriously funny times. That was also my 17th ride on it that day We now went over to Saw. 20 mins to 8pm. We can do 2 rides in that time, If we cheat! Yep. Up SRQ up the Disabled queue. On the ride The staff over there were getting used to us now lol This was run 11.We wanted a night ride, but the main queue was only 25 mins long. Oh well. Not to worry. We moved to the back of the queue after 8pm passed. Of which Ewan went through some techy stuff about Saw that I couldn't understand! Got closer to the building. Of which Ewan got worried when there were people in the ride area!! Dont worry, just the engineer and his daughters. They joined us in the queue. We talked about whats happening about FN's. The engineer showed us a video of what THEY have in store for us. Seriously funny! I'm not telling tho The engineer then talks about stuff they are doing with Saw and around the park. I now got a better understanding of things and why they are not getting fixed right now. But he filled us with a lot of hope, once saw finishes pissing about. Theres also a few other things talked about that I can't say on a public forum, but I will be getting my Saw rides in now!So we got the very last car of the day. At sunset. Lovely. Was a brilliant photo too!ORPAfter that it was a bit of faffing around in the Saw area. I was suprised at the amount of staff that know us now. I could list a few that were new to speaking with today, like Jess, James (Stlth,Saw), Beach Ball (Can't remember name now), Michael, and that engineer. Aswell as the normal, Ali, Holly, Ewan, Chris, Jonny. Dont normally see them all in one day.Such a great day. I mean I also hit my target of 40 rides in a day!!!Stealth x17 (3 Front)Saw x12 Inferno x5 (1 Front)Rush x4Colossus x1 (Front)Slammer x1Quantum x1Det x1Rumba x1Fish x1Thats 44 rides Great day. If only all visits could be like this!!

Awesome. I'm soo going to whore that SRQ tomorrow while it lasts!

Comming up:Thorpe x4Alton x2Oakwood x1Thorpe & Chessie GFThorpe a few more times.Done :)And if you look at my sig, you'll see ive done pretty well this year as far a park counts lolMy parents and some mates are into the rides aswell so I can be regular like I am!
-
Yeah I had a night ride on Saw on Tuesday. Favorite night ride in the park! By far! The queue is a lot better with no light comming in and so is the bathroom scene as you can actually see it. I now REALLY wish Animation 7 was in the dark aswell as the lift hill. Would add a whole lot more to it. Needs some Red and Green lights though. The white lights are too much of a atmosphere killer.
-
It had no missing seats on tuesday. And it was running very well!
-
Yeah and also on the Beemers they tend to want to achive the perfect floater air over the hills and they can alter the speed with trims. Inferno has one on the pre-lift section for example. But thats used to make the train get on the lift at the same speed as the chain, aswell as the chain altering its speed to match the train. Very clever these B&Ms!
-
Shame you had a bad day. They are becoming more a regular thing now it seems. The music in lost city is fine. It would add some sort of good atmosphere if it was actually loud enough to be audible!!

The power line speakers are a strange one. Those only seem to play in mono, ie on one side of each. The one at Tidal's entrance must be knackered. It just rattles. Though I have a feeling thats more to do with the loop itself. I made a mockup WWTP for my bedroom, with all the echo effects done, it made one of the speakers keep going fuzzy and cutting out, so it might be the same.
